+ 3 Just Thoughts...Please chime in
OK, so we take cycles, PCT, reset, take cycles, PCT, reset. To what ultimate goal: TRT. ok nothing wrong with that. It is what it is with this lifestyle, right. I can understand some people want to take a cycle or two so and that's it, yes they will need to PCT correctly.
Ok, so here is my question. If someone is planning on living this lifestyle until they can not live it anymore, knows the end goal, is ok with the end goal, and does not mind pinning the rest of their life, would it really be worth to cycle, pct, reset, etc? Wouldn't that be harder on the body to turn on, shut off, turn on, and then shut off again?
Would it be better to just blast n cruise for however many years one plans on using before going into TRT?
what are your thoughts

Right now I’m going to do the basic PCT. get my body reset. Then after that I’ll do the basic Prop and E again for second cycle. After that, seeing I’m almost 39, I’ll just cycle off and stick with a TRT dose of like 100-150 a week. Draw labs and adjust from there. And do that for several months. Cycle again. Repeat until I I can just no longer cycle. Then just go on trt. My father just got tested and his level was like 315
RustyhookerAwesome! Solid plan. As i went on i just moved towards 6wk aro pct and then last 2 yrs the hcg blast with aro pct. I was running harder cycles but it did give longevity since i kept it simple for so many years
Got ya. I’ll start my PCT Monday. But then after that more than likely never again.
jayiskAround here TRT is Test cyp at 1,200 mg a wk.
That is called a joke. Anyone who is sensitive or has high estrogen I'm telling you ahead of time..., a fawking joke....lol
Wait what. 1200 a week. Haha. Insane TRT dose.
jayiskYou know "Ha Ha funny" .., ah Joe Pesci got it.
What you mean funny. Funny like a clown. What you mean funny. Tell me.
Great movie
RustyhookerLike....im here to amuse you?

The city I live in has worse air than big cities in China most days we are in the purple which I didn’t even know existed. Most of my friends that are 35-36 are tired all of the time and have no energy. They are looking soft for mid 30’s keep in mind these guys have never ran gear. it’s sad to see. So a few of them have finally took my advice and got there hormones checked to no surprise their test levels are in the dirt and the few things they have tried to naturally bring them up have failed, they are now on TRT and look much better and full of life. So a lot of things go into play nowadays more then ever. What kind of air are you breathing? What about the food we consume? Is organic, free range, hormone free and gmo free really free from these things? Most likely not. What do you do for work? Because me and my friends all do fabrication, mechanical and manual labor. And I can assure you that most of the shit we breath in ain’t helping boost testosterone levels. So at the end of the day you gotta pay attention to how you’re feeling and what you’re doing to stay on the positive side of things. Zero energy and no self worth or sex drive is hell for a man. Pay attention to yourself and if in doubt go talk to a specialist because sometimes when you hit rock bottom it’s hard to come up.
Speaking of air, I suffered from allergies since I was a kid. Since testosterone they are all but gone.
I’d take pinning some overdosed ugl gear in the quad and walking like a pirate over bad allergies any day! I had allergies so bad one year I couldn’t stop sneezing long enough to turn a wrench. It was the worst. I never know when you’re joking though pale haha.
lol, this time I was serious. I still may get a bit stuffy and sneeze a few times throughout the day but it is negligible compared to what it used to be. Torture comes to mind.
Funny this new "male birth control" they are pushing out is basically test cream. It shuts down sperm production, I can't wait to hear all the horror stories when these guys decide they want to have kids.
+1 It won't matter, they were going to be sterile eventually, anyways. Given the amount of environmental contamination of ground and drinking water from perfluorooctanoic and perfluorooctanesulfonic acids, not to mention mercury poisoning, the human race is headed towards a no testosterone, sterility nightmare. Soon, everyone will be on TRT.
Do you mind if I change your name to Debbie Downer?
Uhmm, do I have a choice? For a month, just don't call me Sally.
No shit,lol
Ha
The term "blast is cruise" is widely overused. Most especially by younger trainers without a clue. Blast and cruise is a protocol utilized for people already on TRT and not the Joe Blow everyday trainer who has Bigorexia and never wants to come off. Really, who ever wants to come off?
My advice is to never destroy your own body's natural production on purpose because you have decided you are just going to pin for the rest of your life.
TRT was one of my main concerns before I started, I was so relieved when everything went back to normal after my first PCT, even now that pinning myself doesn’t bother me I still don’t want to have to do it every week for the rest of my life!
My younger brother was trying to get on TRT at 25 because his test was low end of normal, he wanted me to get him test when the doc told him to GTFO, he wouldn’t listen when I told him to stop drinking every night and staying up till 2am, in the end I put some of my 21g 2” drawing needles in front of him and told him he’d have to stab him self with them twice a week, he went a bit pale and hasn’t mentioned it since! He did eventually stop drinking and looks way better for it.
I went slightly OT but yeah, I’d avoid TRT as long as possible.
I definitely wouldn't consider it under 40. But after that cycle and PCT is physiologically harder than when we are young. Are there days I wish I was natty? Sure, but not many. Most of the time it is the last thing on my mind. Come Monday evening I pin a ml and I am good for another week.
jayiskI think a lot of people think T.R.T. (testosterone replace therapy) is an excuse to get on gear and stay on gear to avoid cycling and PCT.
T.R.T. is for people..,usually in their 40's at least.., that have a low total testosterone score based off their blood work.
T.R.T. is to negate the negative side effects of low total testosterone. Such as Low sex drive, Difficulty with erection, Low sperm count, Unexplained loss of hair, Hot flashes, Low bone density, Testicular atrophy (changes in testes), Diminished lean muscle mass, Increased body fat, Elevated hemoglobin A1c, Osteopenia or low trauma bone fracture, Problems sleeping (insomnia), Fatigue, Difficulty concentrating, lack of motivation, depression.
Anyone whose blood work came back very low for total testosterone know that Fatigue, Difficulty concentrating, lack of motivation, depression really impact their quality of life and they do not act like themselves.
Nowadays people in their 20's and 30's say their on T.R.T. and dont even go to a doctor or have blood work done. They just pick up some test e/c and run it.
And a lot run dosages way higher then a doctor would have you on. its basically a cycle. something like 600 mg of test e/c and 300-400 mgs of NPP.
Think the problem is people confuse true T.R.T. with blasting and cruising.
Bro i think some of those issue you threw in the mix are actually for menopause lol. But honestly unless a man is really blessed with naturally high test, after 40 he has lost a step. Test gives it back, but not perfectly and not without consequence. It is something we all have to decide our own path on.
yea. One dude at gym, 31 I think, said he just stays on test all the time. I was. Like damn dude. Why. His response was. Idk. Just do. And his normal dosage is like 200 or so a week. And he said he doesn’t even draw labs, see a doc, check BP or anything.
Yea. I’m almost 40 too. That’s why I was wondering about this. If I was in my early 20s different story. Thanks for commenting. I’ll see how this PCT goes for me and after that I’ll think about things
If anyone reading this comment is "young," please understand:
YOU WILL ONE DAY BE FORTY YEARS OLD.
YOU WILL ONE DAY BE FIFTY YEARS OLD.
YOU WILL ONE DAY BE SIXTY YEARS OLD.
Obviously, I'm being a dick to make a point. When we're young men, we can't see a year ahead, let alone a decade, let alone a lifetime...
Nothing, nada, zero, zip, nothing is as good as your natural body as it is, period, infinity, done. There's nothing you can replace artificially that is "better" than your own body.
You want your real teeth, not dentures. Ask anyone with dentures. Your natty teeth are the best.
You want your real bones, not pins & rods. Again, ask around. Artificial hips work, but they suck compared to natty bones.
You want your normal hormones, not exogenous ones. Ask the guys on TRT now. Nothing beats natural testosterone. Pick shit up, put shit down, go chase girls, get shot down a lot, catch a few, nothing beats it.
In the end, TRT shouldn't be something to be seen from the point of view as "an accessory to my life cuz I pinned a lot when I was younger."
TRT should be seen as medicine for a body that needs it. Don't take meds that you don't need.
My first cycle in my late 20's all I was thinking about was getting bigger. I admit any risks were overlooked and my thought process went straight to the end positive results. Now forward almost 20 years and I probably did 3 months worth of research before I made my commitment decision for my 2nd cycle. As far as TRT goes I can only hope I don't land there but if I do Im fully aware of the possibilities. Makwa said something in one of his posts I will never forget. Cycles chip away at our natty levels....couple points here, 10 points there ect ect. I personally will continue proper PCT after my cycles giving myself time to recoup and heal. Great post.
Yea. That dude is a world of knowledge. Lucky to get it for free too
WORD
Not sure why trt seems to be glamorous and just thrown around casually like it is no big deal. It is a serious deal and a hand you don't want to be dealt at all costs. Ask anyone who is on legit trt now and they would probably sell their left nut to have natural levels back again. The problem is that trt just doesn't have the same feel as having natty levels. Something just seems off a little bit. Now trt is a lifesaver when your natty production fails because you just can't function at all otherwise, but it is still not as good as when your natty levels were fine. Last thing you want to do is end up on trt when it could have been prevented.
I for one am very happy that I am not in left nut selling business.
Achilles412Too many worry about the need for TRT and natural levels this and that after years of using compounds meanwhile they forget about the damage done to the cardiovascular system. Breaks are needed for many reasons and def should be utilized that being said A LOT of guys on these compounds are on them for all the wrong reasons and don’t even have the genetics to make a difference anyway. Way too large of cycles way to large of doses so every single safety protocol should be used w 99% of guys to the 1% who run this stuff w an actual CHANCE not hope but chance of doing something productive and profitable then it’s on them it’s a personal choice regardless but I just hope guys give the ole ticker a break TRT is better then a triple bypass
Way to much careless use of AAS. I'm guilty of it too during some of my preps. Hopefully people here can learn from our mistakes but it doesn't really seem to be happening. It is hard to imagine long term consequences but it will eventually bite everyone in the ass.
Achilles412I’m 32 missed out on pro card had gyno surgery, forced to conceive my second child through artificial means, and on TRT. Def made my fair share of mistakes due to my own ignorance along the way. Luckily I have no issues with my heart outside of some slight thickening. Size normal function normal and no build in arties. In the end telling ppl in national level and getting my ego stroked wasn’t nearly worth it but it also could have been much worse and that’s what I hope people get from me when I speak be smart be in top of your health and be patient more is not better.
I hear ya, it is cool to win trophies and get your arm raised on stage but when it is all said and done the trophies just sit there and collect dust and your insides are cooked.
Achilles412Amen. Thanks for all the info you share always a good read
I can't speak for anyone else but your and others contributions here have changed my approach to diet, workout routine and overall outlook on cycling. Definitely appreciated.
Good to know someone is taking it onboard.
AnonThe BK eggnormous burrito is going to give me a triple bypass.
Achilles412Lol. That doesn’t even sound good man....if you said chic fil a instead of BK it would sound gourmet
AnonI agree, it's not good. But I end up getting it 3 mornings a week
jayiskFat, sugar, and salt.
The 3 ingredients the food industry load up their food with to hit your taste buds and have us wanting more.
All true. It has been over 9 months since I ate anything fast food other than a gourmet pizza place here. I didnt eat much FF to begin with but once I made the choice to stop I had some crazy cravings creep up here and there. I agree they load up that food with an "addictive" additive per say.
jayiskI can't stand it when I eat out and the food is loaded with sodium. So bad sometimes I get a headache. Which usually means it raised my blood pressure.
Yeah I got a big double burger from Jack's the other day in a pinch and only got half way through it bc the meat patties were so salty. It happened a while back and I thought the cook just oversalted, but apparently it's been so long since I've had anything like that I can't tolerate it anymore.
jayiskOnce someone gets use to eating clean that other food tastes like shit. I remember eating clean and being in an elevator with a chain pizzeria delivery guy.
He had a fully loaded large pizza. it stunk so bad i felt like a vegan.
Very true, living that experience now, lol. Can't eat Chinese anymore either, so much NaCl it burns my lips.
I'm at a Logan's Roadhouse right now and theres a filet in the back with my name all over it. Baked sweet potato and a veggie skewer and good times, lol.
Ill be hitting up A Roadhouse after gym session now
They've got a cheesy spinach artichoke dip with fresh, hot tortilla chips for appetizer. Waiting on that bad boy now.
