+ 5 I’m back!

ad

What’s up guys? Hope everyone is doing well. I’m back after a long hiatus on here. Lot has changed since I was last really active on here, both for myself and the forum. Not too many old heads left. But it’s good to see some familiar faces. Looking forward to reconnecting with you guys that are still around, and meeting some of the newer guys on here.

As for me, I spent a good 5 years off everything. Wanted to make sure I’d have no issues knocking my wife up. And luckily I didn’t. Got a couple kids now. My Test levels never recovered. They hovered around 200 that whole time despite a couple different attempts to restart my system. It was rough, it’s hard to maintain strength and size with such low test. Luckily I’m a fellow crazy person like most of you and just love being in the gym, even if I was going in the complete opposite direction lol. Not to mention all the other symptoms of low test.

Anyways, I’ve been on TRT for a while now. Dr prescribed. I must say I’ve had way smoother test C from UGLs here than this pharm grade stuff I’m prescribed. PIP like a mothefucker lol. But it’s all good. Been making some solid progress for a while now that my test levels are optimal. My doctor likes to see them around 1000.

Not exactly sure what the future holds for me in terms of cycling. Quarterly bloods from my Dr puts a damper on things. Probably have to stick to shorter esters, which kinda sucks. But either way I’ll be on here more regularly.

I’m glad to see this place is still thriving.

Welcome back Iron! I too took a hiatus too, so you probably dont remember me. Just got back on here last year after being off the forums and gear for over a decade. I had the same name as I do now, so they must have deleted my old account!
If there is anything worth coming off for, it is kids. Haven't had to do that yet (knock on wood). But I would if necessary!
How long were you off for before you stopped thinking about it? I feel like most guys blast and cruise while running HCG year round now, so most of us dont have to come off. I just go down to TRT for a 3-6 months a year. I work with a couple old heads who were never able to have kids though, because they stayed on for years with no HCG. I know HCG is not a guaranteed success for everyone anyways.
Why not switch docs? Or use a TRT clinic that only requires bloodwork once or twice a year? A little more expensive than most PCP's, but more convenient. I also get additional bloodwork done more than that on my own.

I’m sure we crossed paths on here back in the day. For me I stopped thinking about it as soon as I took my last shot. Had some huge very awesome life changes happen at that time allowed me to refocus all that energy I used to put into gear and the science of bodybuilding. So it was pretty seamless transition. But the itch is Back now…

I could potentially switch doctors. I’m already at a clinic. It’s pretty awesome though, I really like my doctor, and they take insurance so it’s cheap. Honestly, it’s not a bad thing having something to limit me. I was never great at doing that myself lol. And being a bit older now I’m much more patient. Back in the day the thought of only putting on 5-10lbs of muscle in a year was unthinkable and demotivating. Couldn't think past 3 months lol. So 5-10lbs a year adds up after 5-10 years. And time just flys now so 5 or 10 years will be here in no time. But whatever I do will be in moderation, with mild compounds, probably mostly test. I’ll milk that for all it’s worth when the time comes. I do love dbol though. And anavar, and npp, and proviron, and primo, and growth lol.

Welcome back Buddy!!

People come and go, you still see some of the old faces popping in time to time. I think many guys outgrow running gear in the end due to family pressures and commitments, pressure from the wife to stop etc lol

irongame427's picture

Yup exactly. My wife was totally fine with me running gear years ago. I honestly have no idea how she’s going to take it now it if I start back up. Babies have changed her….

That's because me and you buddy know where it's at!!! Lmao

The Gym will always be there for you no matter what, it will never turn around one day and say 'My feelings have changed - I just don't feel the same way anymore', the gym always welcomes you with positivty and wants to make you happy in life - it doesn't sit there bitching and moaning about what other people have said or done in the day, it always wants you to stay for longer and enjoy yourself and isn't keeping you under a constant deadline or timescale as to what you are doing in the next 48 hours!!! Lol

Crazy it’s been that long. Time just fly’s by. I Love the fact that iPhone saves passwords. It had been 7-8 years since I last signed on here and I never would have remembered my password. But my phone remembered it and I was able to sign right in.

Welcome back Iron. You always made solid contributions to this site and your forums were blowing up when you weren’t here. I always wondered what happened to you but glad to see you’re ok .

It’s good to see you’re still here brother.

You always have to wonder what happened when someone disappears, given the stuff we mess with. Hope everyone else who’s no longer active just got busy with life like I did.
