Aight so to start off I'm tripping out. I've got 3 international deliveries incoming.
The tracking on these things have been crazy. Delivery dates changing. Long times with no updates. They finally got out for delivery and then 30 mins later an Alert pops up saying package intercepted. Also a different package is now saying a signature is needed but I contacted the source and they confirmed it was sent without a sig required.
Has anyone ran into something like this?

Ok fellas. 1 more update here and then I'm letting this post die.
The last Intl package was out for delivery today. Got home and they left a slip in the mail saying postage was due. I know this was dumb and everyone would tell me to leave it but I took the slip to the post office. Figured there's no way they are busting me for 5 vials of a level 3 controlled substance.
The package was intercepted due to counterfeit postage. The clerk at the postal office said it is pretty common and sometimes done on accident. I paid the money and they gave me the pack. Risking freedom for the gains. Yea maybe I'm an idiot.
Ok so wanted to give everyone a update.
2 of the packs delivered. No police at my door as of yet. 3rd pack is still showing intercepted. Which after doing a little research could mean that the sender had it returned or just the delivery address wasn't legible or was incorrect or a mythriad of other issues.
Thank for everyone in the community that commented or PMed. Especially @smurfdude1234567 that dude fucking rode it out with me all day PMing back and forth for support and providing info just in case some shit went down. Thanks homie
Glad to hear that my man. After you got the first one I suspected all was well. Seems like that shipping company was extra fucky and that’s really nothing new with them haha. Sometimes I don’t even get notified.

Man I’ve been off international for a while now. Thought about going back but life is too good to justify the customs risk for a little extra money saved

Yea but I will say as long as the gear is fire man the deals are unbeatable but I'm kind of thinking the same thing. It's just not worth the stress and hastle.

I’d say they got snatched up you’ll just get a letter in the mail stating what was seized….not trying to bum you out but I got 3 damn letters this year putting a stop to all of my international orders and saving the bug$$$ it fucking blows balls but just from my personal experience I’d say you better back off international orders I got 3 letters and the source asked for another address and my buddy got 2 letters…I completely blame the source for this bullshit the idiot sent 3 separate packs the same damn day and then tried 4 then 5 like that’s not going to be a little sus yeh it was a huge order but anytime I’ve done the same size orders from other sources they sent 1 big pack zero issues

99.9% of the info in these threads is not backed up by any first hand knowledge or experience. Just repeating what they read in an Internet forum so many times it becomes fact. I’ve gotten plenty of letters over 20+ years. I’m more worried about the sun coming up tomorrow than customs paying any attention to a personal use pack in the US

To launch a multi agency task over a dude just trying to get jacked. Especially with only possibly being able to get a simple possession charge seems crazy. But there's just been funky stuff happening with these brackets. That coupled with them being my first intl packages had me tweaking all day
ive had a pack almost delivered and then it had the alert-customs recalled. it got sent back to customs after it went thru customs already and i never heard anything else aboit it. never got a love letter or anything and that was a few years ago. your address might be flaggged now. so i would not sign for any pack coming to you. show the source proof that it says sig required and if the source is good they will reship, but use a diff address.

Checking tracking imo too often raises flags. Whys this pack from x country got 10 checks on it. Stop checking. It shows when it shows. If some black van across street...DONT PICK IT UP.

It makes sense but I don’t think it’s true. Back in the day me and a buddy would receive and ship a very illegal substance and he was always crazy about not checking the tracker. He would always say that they grew t flagged if you check too much. But I know tons of people that check the trackers like crazy for everything they order, video games, sneakers, collectibles whatever. It would be too hard to monitor and check all the packs that has trackers being checked too much. It would be easy for the system to notify them when they’re checked over a certain number of times but it would probably be 50 % of packages anyways
But it doesn’t hurt to be safe and not check it like a madman.

You should really be using a VPN as well as a site like https://www.17track.net/en to check tracking info. But Jock is right about some impatient bastard checking on an international package every 5 minutes being something that might raise eyebrows. Country of origin probably has something to do with it as well.
Sign up for USPS informed delivery. They'll email you daily with any incoming mail/packages. Packages will show up as soon as they get submitted to usps.
I hear that!! I sweat every time. But i read a while back that checking too often causes alerts. True or not....im taking no chances. Running and hopping fences ended with my youth. Lmao
Lol I dont know man. I think if that were true ALL of my packages would grt seized. From these sources, amazon, bass pro shops. I hit refresh like every hour of every day until its in my hands... Maybe even once more after that for good measure.
When i read that report i took it with grain of salt but it made sense. Plus if it doesnt show most sources fix issues. Im just paranoid. Lol

I had a package seized about 5 years back and haven’t ordered anything but domestic since. Getting a letter from customs essentially saying:
“Hey we could fuck your life over, but we won’t for this amount unless you’re a big enough idiot to come claim it”

Yes actually I had the same thing happen to me but I figured out it was just some spam or malware or whatevert the correct term is...I got my delivery and never clicked on any link that was sent to me from "usps" or whatever customs label they had
Oh yeah NEVER click those links or anything that isn’t on the direct website. Thats a super common scam now and they mostly are just pulling info. Some have asked for last mile fees and stuff like that.
It’s pretty easy to differentiate between what’s legitimate and what’s not when you take the time to look into it
I actually got a text one time saying my pack was returned a distribution center. Funny thing is i was waiting on a pack that got delivered in this zip but to a diff address. There was a link to the website that looked 100 percent legit. It asked for my address again and some info then when pushed next it took me to another page that was asking for 35 cents for shipping fee and they wanted cc info. I called the real people and they said it was a scam. Good thing i never put cc info in. So i never got from that source again after i got the reship because they were the only ones who knew i didn't get a package.
I've had to sign for couple international deliveries and it's never been an issue. In fact the only ones i haven't had to sign for came from GD but it's my understanding they have something set up where they import it then it gets shipped from within the continental US. Def had some wonky tracking that didn't update until suddenly it's out for delivery or has been delivered after sitting in limbo for a few weeks. Never had anything about a package being intercepted though. What exactly does it say happened?
Alert Interecepted: called the shipping courier and they said the sender requested the item be returned.
Second package didn't say anything about a sig required until it cleared customs.
never call the shipping company and ask aboit a pack cuz then you are admitting you were waiting on it. i mean you could always use the exacuse that it showed on infm delv and you were wondering what happened but its better to not inquire about packs like that

I played that groundwork when I called. "Hey something popped up on ID. I didn't order anything but with it being around Christmas we always have packages coming our way"
