I have a large knot at my injection site

ad

This is my first cycle. My first 6 injections went great with no pain. My 7th injection was about 32 hours ago and when I was in the shower a little bit ago I realized that I now have a large knot at the injection site. It is not red, hot or painful. It is just swollen. I was very sterile. I used alcohol, prep pads and a different needle to draw and inject. I did not massage it afterwards. I did not massage any of my 7 injections. It was only 1cc of 250mg/ml test e. I used a 1.5 inch needle.

What could have caused this and could it be a problem? How long does this usually last?

Bro your good. You need to rotate. Check out my quad pic if you plan on injecting quads.

Update: My original knot went away but now I have a large knot in my other glute where I injected the 2CCs of test e 2 days ago. I don't know what I am doing wrong all of a sudden. Hopefully my next injection is as flawless as my first 6 injections!

I think the guys are all right but I'm going to throw this in just to stick in the back of your mind for the future. Be oh so very careful where you get your gear. Benzyl alcohol is one of the solvents in the gear that also acts as a sterilizing agent. Then there is benzyl benzoate as well. When either of these is too high in the mixture your injection site is going to swell and a glute injection can swell up like a softball from this. I've been running gear for 15 years and I have purchased some real garbage in that time. Just keep this in mind. This website has a great selection of sources of real quality gear. Don't buy your stuff on the gym floor. Not nowadays anyway.

I know that I shouldn't pin on top of the knot during my next injection so I doubled up my dosage and injected 2CCs today so that I have another week before I have to inject where the knot is currently at. It still is not painful, hot or red so it should be gone in 7 days and I will be able to go back to injecting twice a week.

Since this is your first cycle you should also be learning to pin other sites besides glutes. Delts and quads are also very easy. By having other sites you won't have to double up your dose into one weekly shot and can keep to your schedule of pinning 2x per week so that your blood levels are more stable.

I would like to but it was hard enough to learn how to inject my glutes my myself. I just don't feel comfortable pinning a vein dense area without being shown how to in person.

I do my quads all the time unless I'm loading propianate, then I do my delts for those. I would pin my ass but my arms are so stiff i cant reach back to my junk in the trunk.

I probably hit a vein or blood vessel. I can't aspirate with one hand and I don't hit the ventrogluteal. I only know how to hit the gluteus maximus so I never aspirate. I would have thought if it was blood under there that it would have been red?

Repeatedly injecting any medication or drug into the same area may result in scarring of the skin tissue an and lump under the skin. The needle may not have gone deep enough, or you may have been pulling the needle out before the plunger had been pushed to the bottom of the syringe. Another possibility is that the needle may have clipped a small blood vessel, causing it to bleed and form a little blood blister under the skin. Rotating your injection sites and avoiding the scarred areas for at least six months will help reduce the scar tissue or lump at these overused sites.

So it's nothing to worry about at all?

Trenabolic's picture

Well it's part of the game but you should still keep an eye on it till it subsides.

I thought if you massage it you are spreading it around and tearing more tissue? I never massage my knots and I get them all the time. I just let nature take its course and hot baths like a sissy girl and heating pad when it gets too big.

I completely forgot to include that information. I did not massage it afterwards. I did not massage any of my 7 injections. It was only 1cc of 250mg/ml test e. I used a 1.5 inch needle.
