+ 2 HRT Necessary?: Update
ad
I just spoke with my doctor who went over the results of my hormone test. I am definitely on the lower end of the total testosterone range, as I previously stated in the original post. The good news is he is first going to put me on an alternative medication to exogenous testosterone -- clomid -- to see if it can aid in boosting my natural testosterone levels through stimulation of my luteinizing hormone. The doctor wants me to take the medication 6 days out of the week for a duration of 3 months. After that 3 months, my hormone levels will be tested again to see if there is any improvement. Here is to the prospect of not having to jab myself in the ass for the rest of my life!
Cheers!!!

Anon+2 from me.
I missed some things leading up to this. I see in the comments members filling in the blanks and that gives me a better understanding as to what transpired. And your age being 34 I think you are making a good choice. You're not old yet.
Some advice from me, if you have not yet, get your vitamins dialed in. You can get vitamin panel blood work to check for deficiencies, or just wing it with some research and moderate doses. Either way research vitamins and take them. It's a very cheap and easy way to improve overall health.
Funny you mentioned vitamins. My doctor also suggests that I increase my vitamin D and zinc intake.

This has the vitamin protocol I’ve used to increase lh/fsh and ultimately Test.
Thats great u followed up on this. Ill + ya.. Do update us on how u do with the clomid. Best of luck brother.
Molinin302I'm going to plus this. You took a lot of heat, never asked about cycling or anabolics, and are now following up with what the physicians protocol is. Good for you. Hopefully it works out and you don't have do do what a lot of us do, but in the mean time stick to the doctors recommend measures are. Don't go outside the box. Give it the amount of time he or she recommends and go from there. Thanks for this post, I knew it was sincere. Best wishes buddy.
I will definitely follow the doc's recommendations. If this treatment works, it can potentially bring my natural levels of testosterone to a more optimal level that some men on exogenous testosterone do not even see -- and without having to jab myself in the ass every week! I am sure clomid treatment is not without its own drawbacks (perhaps you are more versed in this treatment and can share your knowledge of its potential adverse side effects), although I have a hunch those drawbacks are miniscule when compared to those of exogenous testosterone. The doctor is also going to provide me with nutritional and supplementation information to aid in the elevation of my natural testosterone levels, which I will follow to the letter (excluding Sundays). ;)
Molinin302Good for you bud, sounds like a level headed doc. I'm more of an anatomy/bodily function guy, not the one to ask for advice on treatments as I'm on TRT myself. Either way, I'm sure you'll be fine and feeling much better soon.
