How Is Everyone finding the New Site now?

So it's been a while now since us Eroid Addicts experienced at the time the biggest disorientation we had ever fealt!! Lol
I just wondered how everyone is getting along now with the new site layout? I've really become settled with it now and think its tonnes better than the old one, I think going back to that now would feel like some kind of Dinosaur era now we are use to this lol With all the new features that keep cropping up daily like the Tagging feature yesterday it feels leaps ahead

Took me around a month to get used to it, but it does look better and farm more advanced from my point of view!

Bigboi50281I like it alot better i can tell pale you been putting in the work. I can tell you if i was a beginner its much easier now getting ahold.of a moderator and less trolls real people asking real questions. More knowledge less bs in my opinion

The site looks better than to old. It took a little getting used to but overall I'm pleased with it. I feel these changes for the most part were needed.
AnonWe found a new site very quickly and easily, to share information, learn, and help each other out. No moderation.
3rd party intervention to protect the site, rather than the people, is a backwards design.
Trust me when I tell you guys it has been far more complicated for me. But like with anything else the more you do it the easier it gets.
Need a dark theme/option - too bright on the eyes at night.
I dislike it too. The old site’s layout was more simplistic.
I hate it immensely. I used to visit multiple times a day. I’ve been here 3 times since the update. Sometimes you just have let things you love go.
Just set 2 hours aside and say to yourself 'I am gonna learn how this works' - then familiarize yourself with where all the features are that you would normally use without even thinking about it, but on the old template.
So for me I flick between the track and heartbeat buttons, then to homepage and just move between them. Its like anything new you have to want to learn it - once you do you will soon see the benefits of the new site.

Honestly I'm loving the new site my only complaint is when u go to some scr review pages the link to the scr home page will not work I have to type it in or Google it I hope it can be fixed as that was very convenient.
X2 - Noticed that yesterday and not sure if it effects all sources. I think need to report that to BFG
I sent BFG a pm, no it does not affect all scr only a couple that ive come across.
It will take time to get all benefits true. I miss the option to update your cycle and not making new posts. But just share the same content in that cycle as update. Now if I want to update i have to submit new pics, and new content..
Or update the old cycle log, but not like it used to be.
Overall i like the look and i m getting use to it.
Dont like it. Hate change. Remember back in the day coke tried to do this. Came out with new coke. Everyone hated it think a few may have died and then coke classic is immediately brought back and everything was good. Think it was next day berlin wall came down idk.

Personally I would have kept the old site , but I suppose money was spent so the change was happening regardless.

Not a fan honestly. Haven't logged on much since the change because it's too difficult for me to navigate. I get frustrated and just log out. I liked the source page before and haven't located it yet. I just logged on now to send a pm to a source about an order and it took forever to figure it out. So with that I'll leave again. Good luck all

Yeah, I was surprised when I first saw the change. And I'm still getting used to. But I think innovation is needed. It has become a much more beautiful site with this state.

AnonGlitchy. I'm not a fan. I'm on a desktop PC. If you don't edit the URL so that you are on a source's page without being there from a redirect from the main page apparently it can just drop your review on any source it seems. I just got done dealing with that. I hope @BFG can delete the review and rating that landed in the wrong place. Also I cant space things out anymore by hitting Enter, so things just run into each other. My review looks like shit. Total cluster fuck. Why did they do away with the ability to space things out? I've had enough of this place for today that's for sure.

It was never just one enter for a space between two paragraphs,
it was always two.

Molinin302I'm definitely a fan. I mean 70's shag carpet is still cool in my book, but have to keep up with the times. Old site was feeling dated. It's a nice job by BFG.

On a desktop its very easy to use and navigate through, its just a case of getting use to the new layout and knowing where everything is and how to access the relevant pages. I much prefer the brighter appearance to it also rather than the darker old one. I am assuming this newer version can withstand DDoS attacks much better than the older one too so it won't be shut down as much when the Botnets try to attack it.
TricepatopsI think it is easier to find old posts or posts I commented on. I like it the more I use it but I did like some older stuff more but they could have been just used to it.
Liked the old site better. This seems harder to navigate for some reason and is difficult to find and respond to new posts. Different look obviously but not much changed unless you like smileys and tagging.

Can you expand on that please, there are 7 mechanisms active specifically for tracking and responding to content.
Molinin302It's just me getting older and bad eyes lol, I like the pink outline while scrolling, that kind of thing is something I like, but is there any way to make it bolder? A thicker outline? I don't know, just so it could pop out a little more?
When a new forum topic is posted I see the green star which is nice. New topics are easy to spot. What is particularly hard to spot are the new comments within a post. The faint pink box doesn't cut it. I must be going blind but it doesn't really stand out much and you really have to look for it. For some reason it was real easy spotting the new post in a topic with the old format. I never had to struggle like this. It is also difficult to tell if there are any new posts unless you look at your tracker. But my tracker always essentially says 1 new post, which would happen to be my post.
Now I have to go look at the last by part in the forums to see if something was posted after I had logged off. I.E. I logged off 2 hours ago and shows a post with the last couple of minutes for example. then I know someone posted something new a post somewhere. The writing is really small and faint making that part difficult also. Without the tracking I would be completely lost. For some reason things seemed so much easier and quicker with the old system.
The PM notifications for groups are a nice touch but I get enough emails throughout the day and don't want my box filled up with notifications from eroids. I am adapting so I am sure with a bit of time it won't be a big deal.
New comments now have a green line on the left and a green indicator on the right saying NEW

The interface became too "busy." It's kind of like too much information at once. For a modernized look it works once you are in the post but simple browsing is a chore. The nice part of the old site was categorized posts without the bells and whistles where you hit your tab, and went to where you wanted to go. Easier explanation is it's too "in your face" now
On the upside, you now spend 33% less time (two taps/clicks vs previous 3) to locate forums, pics and other content via menus.
Content on the frontpage is available with 1 click/tap where before you had to click two links to get to the wanted content.
I understand what you mean by "busy", but I'm sure people will learn to filter out noise (content they're not interested in) and focus/point directly at what they want, when they get used to the layout and learn where things are.
Personally I don't find it busy, but I am months ahead in using the layout.
I like the looks of the front page. Took awhile to get used to.
