HCG time line
ad
Ok, did a twelve week cycle of test c at 400mg a week just to keep the body going. About ten days after my last test shot, I supplemented with HCG. Didnt add anything else in the pct due to low funds. Now, my gf is prego. So, how long does it take the HCG to kick in, becuase it did it immediately. This has never happen in the past and was just curious. I thought the body was shut down and could not get the woman prego. I guess thats not the cause. Anybody else had this happen?

Bonedoc thats great information, thanks bud.
AnonThe simple answer to your question is absolutely you can impregnate someone even when on cycle! I don't think the question of how long for HCG to make you fertile again is correct rather were you ever infertile on the gear?
I am oversimplifying this, but in general high levels of AAS cause the hypothalamus to shut down its production of GnRH from the hypothalamus through a negative feedback loop. Without GnRH, the pituitary gland stops releasing LH known as luteinizing hormone. In short LH triggers the testes to produce testosterone. People take hCG as you know to stimulate the leydig cells to synthesize endogenous testosterone. What is most important in this loop is the ratio of serum testosterone to intratesticular testosterone. The high levels of intratesticular testosterone (ITT) are needed to create an environment which induces spermatogenesis from the sertoli cells.
I have attached a link to an article which specifically addresses the dosing of HCG in relation to intra-testicular testosterone production and is a good read for anyone using or thinking about using HCG in there cycle or post-cycle.
In reference to men who continue to produce viable sperm in the setting of AAS as opposed to those whom are essentially infertile from AAS.
"However, suppression of spermatogenesis is not uniform, and why some men are nonresponders is not clear. Possibilities include incomplete gonadotropin suppression, particularly with regard to FSH as well as inconsistencies in ITT suppression"
"Exogenous TE (200 mg weekly) has also been shown to reduce sperm production to azoospermic levels in approximately 70% of Caucasian men" Thats not 100%...
I realize your dose was higher than that cited below but I want to state again that not all men will respond the same to AAS with regard to ITT levels for whatever reason so unless you're planning for kids better use back-up...
Lastly, I see on these boards and many other the ridiculous range of HCG suggested to be taken both intra and post cycle. Some people are of the mindset that you can't have enough well this article clearly shows that the levels most people take are supra therapeutic. Make sure you cycle on and off HCG whenever you decide to take it no more than 3 weeks on at a time (I prefer 2wks at a time only) and no more than 250-500 every other day.
Didn't intend to write so much on HCG but in my mind its one of the most misunderstood adjuncts based upon my readings in the past across various places.
Link for anyone curious its a good peer reviewed article....

Nah don't think she has cheated. My buddy had the same thing happen but he is the only one I know. I know HCG makes you very fertile Well, thanks for the feed back.
Muscleg33kThe HCG - elimination half life-time EHT is about 33 hours for intramuscular or subcutaneous injections.
Muscleg33kMaybe she's cheating on you lol kidding man! Congrats bro
Can't say I have this problem. Might want to get a paternity test to be safe. I can't comment on whether or not this is physiologically possible, but my guess is that it IS possible.
