as a treat I'll top my Greek yogurt for a mid morning, post workout snack from time to time, granola is carb dense with a moderate to high sugar content. luv some almonds thanks for the twist Loc!
I go with almonds raw and roast them in the oven with cooking spray and cinnamon at 325 for 20min or so FTW! Granola tastes good but I have seen it turn people into hippies. jk
granola is just oats, mixed with sugar, honey, and oil.
Check out monounsaturated fat and polyunsaturated fats.
No
Is a nut allergy the reason you don't eat them?
I eat them just dont want to and was wondering if there was a substitute. Ill read on what you posted about though.
Get a big bag of unsalted almonds and another bag of walnuts or pecans, at first you won't really enjoy them much but if you stick with it as basically the only snack you eat you will get to liking them.
X2 on the almonds bro. I put a 1/4 cup in a ziploc bag, add a little cinnamon and throw them in my lunch box. Granola is very calorie dense and full of unwanted sugar.
I have heard of adding flavors like Cinnamon. Thank you!
