Going Crazy with a Cold

ad

I've had a cold now for one week and it's driving me crazy! I'm finally over the runny nose, tired all the time, etc. Still have some sweating and a crazy cough with a sinus headache. When will this ever end? I'm on my 5th week of my first cycle and haven't been able to get to the gym for 5 days. It's making me lose my mind!

I've ramped up my Vitamin C intake and am still taking all my other supplements (multi, vitamin C, omegas). What is your guy's go to to help kick a cold?

Drive your body temperature up by high cardio. It will blow out your lungs and prevent pneumonia from setting in. And it will expedite your healing from the cold. I have done this for years it has never failed me. With a cold mind you not the flu or a virus

If you are running a longer cycle like 12-16 weeks I would suggest downing your dosages to basically cruise for a week to let your body combat that shit. Also when I'm sick I never feel like eating so I I'm on a clean diet I'll allow myself to cheat throughout the week. Still eating required protein intake but allowing for more junk and carbs just to atleast get the nutrients in your body. Let's face it nobody like diet food when your healthy sure as he'll not when you're sick so cram the cals and nutrients any way iu can man. Hope it helps! Good luck!!

You may have a secondary bacterial infection. Go to doc and ask for zithromax. And look into upping zinc dose to boost immune function.

I'm fighting a cold right now also. I usually just load up with Vitamin C (emergen-C) and zinc. I think it helps to a degree but in the end, it just needs to run it's coarse

Time...Sorry. I wish there was a quicker way. Everything else is just for symptoms (pain relievers, decongestants, etc.), but won't shorten the length of your cold. Other remedies may give you a placebo effect, but that's it. People swear by a lot of remedies, but again, it's mostly placebo. If it works for you, great, but there is no scientific evidence that any one remedy is better than another.
Besides that, you may need an antibiotic if you are getting any green mucus (yummy). If so, that will help you feel better.
