Free vs total testosterone question.

I just got back my bloods from the doctor my total test was over 1500. Unfortunately the range on testosterone cuts off at 1500 for their lab. However; my free test is 50. Isn't there a ratio to figure out total test levels based on the free test level? I was taking 600mgs a week of test e, 225mgs of npp per week and Proviron 25 mgs a day. I'm 5'9"" 235 pounds.

No. Free test is dependent on many things, such as estrogen. Not just ur test levels

Personally, i wouldnt go to that endo nor tell your dr youre on cycle, using illicit drugs. Im sure you accidentally took too much of that GNC test booster. After looking online and realizing your test levels were THAT high, you literally scared the hell outta yourself. And threw those boosters in the trash.

Pct lingers around 6 weeks after stopping. So if you get bloods with regular dr, use some knowledge. Yes, you should get regular off cycle exams. Its what you cant see that will bite you.
Issues like abscess if it happens. You used vit b12 and must have not sterilized properly. The clinical care is the same. But it leaves the word steroids off your report. B12 is easily gotten off the internet. And its pharmacy grade.

I'm using my regular doctor. She will be referring me to an endocrinologist. I told I needed a test over 1500 she didn't know where it cuts off at. I'm a week off cycle now so no point in doing over and I live hours from a lab corp. estrogen didn't get done either.
I read somewhere that free test is ratio of total test. Does anybody know the math to give me a ballpark of where it may be? Thanks for all your replies.

could just be a doctor that he's open with. I tell my doc about my cycles and do the bloodwork myself off-book, then bring it in to review. Helps me stay safe.

In a real hospital you can lose your insurance. And if its put into your records, getting future insurance will list you as high risk for using needles. At least at my old job...that was the standard. Most of my friends are in that biz and state the same

It might come down simply to a dr willing to help over losing $150k/year and their license to practice.
But, its no secret that EVERY post in here outside of real trt is advised to use privatemdlabs or others. Guess youll find out soon if your dr is chill or she advises you against using illicit drugs via needles.

My family doc that I’ve had forever. Not an endo or hospital. He is pretty up to date on TRT tho cuz he’s on it. He doesn’t keep any info about cycles. I bring all my bloods in for him to look at and I bring them out. Nothing on my record. I get blood thru insurance when off cycle.
I’m super happy that I have a doc I can be honest with. Obviously nothing that insurance would know about. He just helps me look over things to help keep me safe.

lol I think we’re on different pages buddy. Not Dr approved at all in my case. More like doctor aware. I have a doc I can trust and am honest with him off book with what I do.
I’d never recommend anyone put anything on their record. But if you can find a doc you can be honest with, and is willing to look over bloods that you paid for out of pocket and brought in off the record, that’s only a plus. There’s nothing to audit cuz he’s not signing off on anything and nothing is on record.
Obviously I’d never advise anyone to get cycle blood work thru insurance or try to cycle thru a doctor. I also wouldn’t recommend anyone open up like that to their doc unless they know they can be honest with them without everything going in their file. All cycle bloods out of pocket.

And i asked if his Dr allowed all this.

The only thing I was defending was taking in bloods you payed for yourself to review with a doc you trust IF you have a good rapport with them and they’d rather help you stay safe off the record than have you hide it from them.
In hindsight, it’s prolly not a good idea to tell people that, because someone could end up telling the wrong person and get fucked.
Either way, what I was talking about clearly isn’t the case here. So that’s my fuckup
