+ 2 First Show and Nervous as Hell

ad

Gents.

I have been on a journey for past 6 months to take of getting my physique back to where I could make my wife jealous by walking down street with her, sans shirt. To continue my journey I got back on the wagon and like my sobriety fully emersed myself. I decided back December to prepare for a show thats 2 weeks out from now in the Physique category. Basically for guys that dont know, you wear board shorts and get judged on how close to movie star look you have. Im really excited about my progress, but damm am I nervous to get on stage. Ive always been a wreck and had social anxiety with public speaking. Ive already told myself that backing out isnt an option, but hoping I can get feedback from some vets or heck even share some stories of your first time. Hearing other dudes experiences helped in NA so why not in bodybuilding.

It won't just be you who will be nervous come show day. All the other Competitors will be feeling exactly the same as yourself.

With two weeks to go you have plenty of time to make any little changes. Physique isn't about being diced to death, keep your diet on point and water load a week out and you should be great come the day. Don't forget to smile lol.

Everyone on eroids will be cheering for you bro so when you up on stage in the back of your head just think to yourself man I cant wait to tell my homies at eroids. Also pop one nut out of your suit that will keep all eyes on you make sure you wink a lot Ronnie himself told me about that tactic

At any rate, if you've been doing your cycle right you shouldn't have any nuts to stick out.

Hello Sir,

Great to hear about your decision to compete. All of us, who have ever competed, been through this stage, all the following shows you do will still be bit stressful, that's normal, we all go through this.
Just want to wish you a good luck, would be great if you could share some competition pictures with us once it's done

Regards

Good luck I know what you’re going through I’m just as nervous for my show coming up. You put in the work so go present it!

You have already done all the hard work, just need to finish it. Would advice to have someone with you on the competition day, someone who has done this before so you can be guided through day. Think the biggest stress you get is from not knowing where to go and what to do so you don’t miss you class etc. Once it’s done, it feels like the major job has been completed and you feeling relieved. Good luck
