Expired Gear

How's it going Ladies and Gents?
It's been a while since I last logged in and I was looking to get some opinions on expired gear.
Expired 8/17
Is it still safe?

Sometimes it depends on how it was stored. If it was kept in a somewhat cool dark environment with out much temperature variations it most likely still G2G.
I did. Had bloods done while running it and test levels were gtg. Like I said the DOD did a massive study (or sponsored it) regarding this topic because of the amount of money they were losing wasting expired drugs. I am talking pharma stuff not sure how that translates with UGLs.
Just used some omnadren amps that expired in 2007. Worked fine. Google this because the DOD did a big study on this bottom line was the drugs might lose a little potency but won't hurt you. Many in this study were 15 years past expiration date.
Have a link to this study?
I have 8 vials of REDACTED cyp and some CENSORED add ons that’s from 2015, expired 17ish, but stored properly over the years.
Is it safe to pin?
Rustyhookerdont post names of brands or sources in forums.
Alphamale500You said those amps expired in 2007. So those amps were likely manufactured in 2003 and were roughly 17 years old. Wouldn't you rather just buy some new, fresh potent gear? I agree that most gear that's expired, is still good in most situations. That's depending on storage conditions of course. I posted a study about expired drugs/meds in the first page of this post.
But gear that's almost 20 years old, why? Sust is very cheap and widely available. Even if it only lost some potency, why would you wanna use gear that's lost some of it's potency? Well, to each his own I guess. But for me personally, 17 year old gear is just too old to even chance using it. I just can't see the reasoning behind using gear which is that old. But that's your choice. Enjoy!
You've just pinned some 12 year old gear??
Maybe it aged well like a good cigar lol
Mate I can't believe someone would rather pin some Test that has been expired for 12 years rather than just buy a couple of new vials when its so cheap anyway - Risking either being ill or having about a 50% potency if you are lucky. Madness ....
ahah
12 year its really strong, it is not 1-2-3 years..
Alphamale500If you think about it, those amps were probably more like 16 or 17 yrs old. Because if they expired in 2007, they were likely manufactured in 2003 or so. Idk about other ppl, but that's far too old for me to chance using! In that case, I'd just buy some new gear.
Agreed, it really shit and doesn't matter it was pharma grade or no.. it is just too much any way)
What’s the pip carrier? They all have different shelf lives.
StevebUGL expiration dates mean nothing. When does this thing monitored and inspected by no one reputable expire?
As long as everything is clear and in suspension I am gonna send it.
Probably better safe than sorry and stay away, especially if it's UGL oil
Food for thought... who's requiring and enforcing expiration dates on UGL gear? The FDA?
Now this is something that I have spent a lot of time thinking about. Are the UGLs actually putting in the time and research to identify how long after production thier products can be safely used, or are they just slapping dates on there to mimic pharmaceutical labels? My guess is more of the latter with just a gut feeling ballpark idea of actual shelf life.
It is a ploy used by UGL to lend the appearance of legitimacy to their gear.
Similar throwing the word "pharma grade" at their gear.
Alphamale500Yep, that's exactly what it is. Just to make their gear appear legitimate!!

I've said before, if they order 1000 test E labels. And have 100 left when they next brew a batch, of course their going to use the older labels.
Their in it to make money, waste even packaging and labels all has to be paid for one way or the other.
I dare say most people will probably use what they get almost straight away but that's not always the case, the idea of just throwing something away based on a ugl label seems daft to me, water based gear, test suspension, tren base and water winny yes, I'd proceed with caution and more than likely throw it away but I've used old oil based gear in the past and it was perfectly fine. Stored correctly the gear is absolutely fine.
Alphamale500That makes a lot of sense regarding the labels, and actually I never thought about it from that aspect. But certainly, old water based gear is more prone to containing significant amounts of bacteria than oil based gear, that's a fact. That's because water is a better growth medium for these microbes than oil is. But of course microbes can grow in both water based gear and oil based gear, don't get me wrong.
RustyhookerUnless its 100% real pharma....i do not use aqueous injectables at all. I sublingual it.
Alphamale500I never tried that myself.
Alphamale500Btw, you said you did visually inspect the gear, but did you smell it because I didn't see you mention that part?? Can you smell it, and describe what it smells like?
If its tabs it would be good but could be a lil less potent. If its oil injectable UGL then I'd throw it out.
AnonPull some oil out smell it and taste it, if it's gone rancid it'll have an odd smell/taste.
It sounds weird..but I've smelled and tasted oil that leaked out from a pin, it's not an offensive smell, smells mildly like alcohol/chemical..hard to describe, but scent memory is one of the strongest senses we have. That's why smelling something can instantly bring you back to an old memory. I've smelled a soap at a store once and was like, holy fuck we had this when I was 5..
Also common sense, lol pitch it and buy more, deals are sweet this time of year!
Alphamale500That's weird! I could swear that I've heard this before very recently, maybe even in this same post;
"Pull some oil out smell it and taste it, if it's gone rancid it'll have an odd smell/taste."
AnonDamn, I missed that part of your post..my bad, I just skimmed through.. correction..BOTH your posts!!
Alphamale500Don't worry about it, It's all good bro! I was actually gonna erase this comment just now, but I seen you replied to it already. It's all good bro, anyone can write anything they want. I was really only fuckn around anyway bro. But that is a good way to test gear that you think might be expired right? I would say that the OP's gear is fine to use. But then again, being that test is so cheap and he's obviously worried about it, maybe the OP would be better off just tossing it.
It's all good bro +1
AnonYeah I've had a rough week..sick assss fuuuck.. everyone in my house..I'm running on 1/4 brain power lol.
But yes, I know what my Deca 500 smells like for sure! It's more pungent than the test cyp.
Pinning gear I had any anxiety about would be a cascade effect for me.."should be fine" "probably ok..?" "Is that pip or an abscess forming" "oh God I'm gonna lose an arm!" I'd pay $30 this time of year to avoid that fuckery..hell, with some of those specials I've seen more like 20!
I've seen the link you posted before, actually it was you who posted it wasn't it? Like a couple weeks ago? I usually don't cite sources unless I repeat or re-word what I've read, or if the claim is controversial. It's tedious on a phone...
Alphamale500No, I never posted that link before. Actually, I just found it today.
Abscess.
Its more than 2 years already
Do you think its stored proper?
It's oil and UGL
It's up to you but I do not recommend
Much respect
I'd happily use it with zero concern. I'd bet money that it's still as potent and will be just as safe as the day it was made.
Even though the term bathtube gear is banded around, in reality some of the larger ugls operate to a similar standard to pharmacy drug production. This being so, my confidence to use it would increase.
The choice is yours to make at the end of the day.
Agree with you Rob, used plenty of expired gear in my time with no issues and undetectable difference in results.
Alphamale500I agree with you 100% robb. Some ppl are just thickheaded or wanna repeat something they've heard before to make themselves look knowledgeable. Even when there's studies like the one I posted which show the truth about expired gear.

2 weeks ago, there was a US random bust on a big domestic source who got drunk and started firing with a gun, cops started searching and found a dirty garage lab. BIG UGL
Im sure your remember the famous istagramer who sold steroids with a pharma company name and got in jail.He sold tons of stuff and shit was potent. He admitted his cook was high on heroine while they produced steroids. Another big ugl. At the end of the day a garage will never be a pharma drug production facility.
RustyhookerROBB....REMOVE BRAND NAMES BRO.....YOU KNOW THE RULES. DUDES PROBABLY 5-0 PHISHING Y OU
Edit
Pharma grade or UGL?
UGL
Not worth to risk anything like an abscess and so on...
Test C isn't very expensive, I'd invest in new bottles.
Mastinos55exactly 30-40 bugs for a vial test c or e
throw those vials in the trash. Better be safe than sorry. Im sure BA and BB will start oxidate after a few years. I wouldnt even think about it if its UGL, I have enough trouble sleeping while I take bathtub and garage made gear, but taking it while its expired? No thank you.
Mastinos55allthough roids are not healthy tendin takin expired roids is it worth it health vs. safin a bit money bro don t get it wrong i hate it too throwin a full vial into the garbage as i wear sayin not worht it risk more health issues vs benefits
regards
It depends on what it is? Even so I tend to use gear thats within 6 months of expiry, after that I'll tend to throw it away as the way I see it is if you are putting in 110% into your training sessions then why use gear that may have lost 25% of its effectiveness - you are robbing yourself of your efforts.
Test C 250
Alphamale500That's not that long ago at all. Can I ask exactly what kind of gear it is?? There are some sites that still sell gear at discount with expiration dates similar to that. Whether your gear is orals or injectables, they should be fine to use. And as it states in the study below, even if not stored in strictly controlled temperatures they should still be fine. Like I said, 2 years is not that long at all.
If you really wanted to play it safe and it's injectables you're referring to, you can visually inspect the oil for cloudiness or particles, and you can smell a couple drops of the oil to be sure it doesn't have a rancid/rotten smell, and you can even taste a drop. But IMO, your gear should still be fine. Again, exactly what kind of gear is it?
The following information is from the link at the bottom.
"Expired drugs may remain effective, safe to use in a pinch. (Reuters Health) - Even medicines that are years past their expiration date and haven't always been kept in strict climate-controlled conditions may still retain their original potency, a small study suggests.Feb 20, 2019"
"The expiry date on a drug packet is the last date a drug company will guarantee the drug content and stability when stored in the recommended conditions and in the original packaging,”
"This date is not necessarily the point at which the drug becomes ineffective or dangerous, and for many medications, this window may be far longer than the usual two-to-three-year expiry date,”
"Even medicines that are years past their expiration date and haven’t always been kept in strict climate-controlled conditions may still retain their original potency, a small study suggests."

Injectables, Test C 250. The oil still looks good no floating particles or cloudiness.
