Everyday SubQ Injections

ad

For the past 5 years, I’ve injected IM for everything I’ve used — from test to tren to eq, etc. With the only exception being peptides

I’ve recently talked to a close friend and he tells me he does subq injections every day — for even longer esters such as test c. His reasoning was that it keeps bloods more stable and he gets to use smaller needles for pinning.

Has anyone here had experience with pinning daily for things like test/compounds that otherwise would be e2d or e3d?

Crisler and another doc talked about this. They said to use a micro syringe and inject .05ml nightly. Reason being that test levels will peak 12 hours later and mimic natural fluctuations in testosterone.

No reason to pin long esters sub q everyday besides wanting an excuse to use a small needle lol. Regardless if you pin long esters everyday or every 4th day the ester itself will give you a certain sustained release regardless.

Makwa's picture

the whole purpose of long esters in the first place was for a sustained release and subsequently to avoid the hazards of ED pinning.

DeeMan's picture

Exactly and on top of that it's sub q which delays long ester release even longer. Just reinventing the wheel! Or more like spinning the wheel and going nowhere.

If you dont mind pinning, go for it. Seems to have benefits over im. Plus if you ever get contaminated gear (god forbid), an abces in fat tissue is easier to deal with than one in muscles.

YOLO

To what end? I agree about sub-Q v. IM for small TRT doses of test having more benefits, but long ester sub-Q everyday v. every 4th day isn't going to give him any more benefit and increases the risk for the abscesses you're talking about.

DavosD's picture

I agree, that would certainly increase the risk.

I wasn't complete in my answer. I've done a subq cycles which I liked (only test-e and a low dosage of primo). But the everyday pins where to keep the volume of oil per injection down. Actually I've also experimented with everyday injections alternating subq and im, which I also very much liked and preferred over only im injections. For TRT I'd rather go for eod subq pins.

I don't think I'd ever go back to im only. I just feel so much better on subq honestly.

Adding to this: you have to find just the right oil to inject subq. If you don't you'll end up with painful lumps all over your stomach. Maybe I've been lucky with that.

I'll pass on it.

Here's an article from a men's clinic in the UK. https://themenshealthclinic.co.uk/microdosing-trt-the-future-of-testoste...

I dunno man, was doing subq for a while. It may be a UGL thing, I don’t know, but every few times I’d miss good meat, or be a little too shallow in the meat. Frankly I’d never inject oil into the subcutaneous fat that wasn’t pharma (no hate towards my beloved UGLs I use). Now when I wouldn’t hit good tissue, I’d wind up with a nice red irritating rash for a few days at the bottom of my delt where the oil settled. 1” 25g for delts, 1.5” 23g for glutes and it’s never a problem. I gave up on quads a long while back, hit too many nerves. Be a man and load up that barrel son, 2 times a week, you’re good to go.

Pumped_'s picture

2x week is is the max for me. I hate injections whether its IM or SubQ. Its foolish but thats the only reason i dont really use HGH. I did for healing but the love of the pin is not in my heart. Some people not saying you but get addicted to shooting and get obsessed with the act.

DeeMan's picture

I'm with ya on that. All that damn pinning isn't for me. Can't see doing sub q for a whole cycle. Wish I could be one and done.

Pumped_'s picture

Wish there was something like the birth control where you get a strip or ring under the skin and it lasts 20weeks

Yeah i know. Im not a clinicy guy and dont have the funds they want me loading in their pockets lol i like flying under the radar

DeeMan's picture

That would be nice. It's 2023 so I'm sure there's something out there. Gotta be lol. You thought about test U?

Pumped_'s picture

I just looked up they do make pellets that go under the skin. So i guess the thing is UGL needs to start providing lol

DeeMan's picture

Yea those cattle pellets are old news lol

Big_Ape's picture

That was some good stuff. I lived on Finaplix and Synovex.

Big_Ape's picture

Drexyl's picture

Lol! Whatever you don’t follow the instructions, you’ll need to use this thing and crank one in behind your ear.

Big_Ape's picture

MOOO!!!

DeeMan's picture

Yeah that's right. Watch within the next couple of weeks some src will add pellets on their list for sales. But seriously I may look into test U just to play around with or have around

DeeMan's picture

You're the second to say injecting is calming. First guy said that even before he pinned he'd get a rush of adrenaline. He said it was euphoric and loved the pain. Lol I just can't relate.

JakeKO's picture

I can’t stand it. Nothing calming about it for me.

DeeMan's picture

Lol. For real.

Pumped_'s picture

Ive been at it for over 10 years and still hold the syringe for 30seconds mustering up the balls to just jab. Ptsd from hitting nerves too.

DeeMan's picture

Yeah the nerve thing was always on my mind

Drexyl's picture

Exactly why I gave up on quads, every other or third time I’d spear one. I’ve had my leg involuntarily extend hard and stay locked until I very gently withdrew the needle, that area is not for everyone.

DeeMan's picture

Really? That sux. Haven't had anything bad like that happen...yet. Hopefully it doesn't. I know my pip is worse there.

Drexyl's picture

You will 100% know for sure when it does happen. Anything other than subq I always aspirate, only once in the glute did draw back blood, twice in the quads. But it’s the nerves that turned me off. Turned me off big time.

Makwa's picture

I have noticed over the years that as my legs have gotten bigger, the more nerves I seem to hit. I used to have no problems pinning quads. They were a favorite of mine because very easy to pin. Now it is 100% guaranteed that I will hit a nerve so they are a very last resort for pinning now. Feels like being electrocuted every time I pin them now and they tense up so hard I have actually had the needle fly out of my hand without a firm grip.

DeeMan's picture

O yeah those nerves for sure can be scary. How deep you pinning though? 1 inch? 1.5?

Drexyl's picture

1.5” yeah. But I’m like Makwa in that regard, I have pretty decent legs. When I was younger I was known to have a great upper body, legit 19” biceps, but as I’ve gotten older my legs have gotten in much better condition. I can’t go as heavy with the upoer body anymore after some injuries.

DeeMan's picture

I gotcha. 1.5 is terrifying. A small knife lolol

Drexyl's picture

I don’t mind it really, I give lots of injections, I think too many people are trying to get more clever than what’s needed. If it’s long ester, twice a week is perfect. When you get into drugs like Deca or EQ, pinning every day is plain retarded. I’ll say that with no problem. To pin anything with a ten day or longer half life is plain unnecessary. Self torture in my opinion.

DeeMan's picture

I've agreed with ya on alot of things but what you just said, I couldn't agree with you anymore than I am. You're right for sure. It's plain rediculous to be pinning a long ester every dang day. C'mon. Yep folks trying to be too clever and think that they are some sort of bio chemist or something lol. Wish I could give 5 likes.

Makwa's picture

That is what I though at first, but once you flex your leg muscles you realize how pretty damn big they are and 1.5" is barely scratching the surface.

DeeMan's picture

It's optics that's all

Makwa's picture

I used to think the same thing sticking a 1" needle into my delts. Thought I would be hitting bone Lol

DeeMan's picture

I never thought that but maybe with 1.5" I did. Won't happen I know. It just was never needed in my case. In fact most don't need 1.5 but nothing wrong with those that feel they do need it.

Drexyl's picture

Tissue runs pretty damn deep lol

DeeMan's picture

I agree that 1 inch should fit in delt.

Makwa's picture

If you can't fit a 1" needle into your delt you probably shouldn't be running steroids in the first place Lol

https://www.discountedlabs.com/blog/Where-to-Inject-Testosterone-intramu...

Two hundred thirty-two men took part in the UC study. Baseline levels were recorded for all men in the four measurement areas and then again at 6-12 weeks post-treatment. The results showed that men who underwent SubQ injections of testosterone resulted in a 14% greater increase in total testosterone levels than the testosterone level of IM patients. SubQ patients also had 41% lower hematocrit post-therapy than IM patients and 26.5% lower E2 levels. For both groups of men, there were no elevated levels of PSA.
Additional Studies Comparing IM versus SubQ TRT
While the UC study provides valuable data on four specific lab test values of concern and is one of the most recent studies on the topic of subcutaneous versus intramuscular testosterone injections, it is not the only information we have available. An additional Journal of Clinical Endocrinology study found that normal serum testosterone levels were maintained through SubQ injections. Most patients preferred the injection method due to less injection site pain. Similar results were found in a study headed by Dr. Al-Futais in a Canadian study that ran for one year in 2002.

Similar results for subcutaneous testosterone injections have also been found in female-to-male (FTM) transgender people-based testosterone studies. The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism reported that FTM patients administering SubQ testosterone were found to easily reach stable and normal testosterone levels along with suitable E2 levels. The study concluded that SubQ testosterone injections are both safe and effective.
Although far less in-depth than we previously mentioned, a final study of note was published in the Journal of the Endocrine Society. Similar results to the reviews mentioned above were found, along with no significant changes between IM and SubQ patients relating to (dihydrotestosterone) DHT. Interestingly, unlike the UC study, this study also measured no notable difference in E2 levels between the two categories. However, it must be noted; this particular study only included a single injection of Testosterone Undecanoate at 1000mg.

It works, I did it on my recent cycle of Test/NPP/EQ.

Studies show Subq is as efficacious as IM or even better for slower absorption, and also minimizes tissue damage that comes with harpoons going into muscle.

The problem you run into is Oil volume. Lots of low mg/mL gear means large oil deposits and needing to rotate injection sites to avoid overfilling and causing inflammation. You can feel the lumps where you injected and wait for them to dissipate.

The happy medium is "shallow-IM" if your bodyfat is low enough and your small insulin syringe can just barely reach into the muscle. 27g 1/2" needle does the trick and doesn't take too long to draw/inject, but it's limited to 1cc per injection. Once I started doing this there was less issues with subq lumps, and the small needle likely won't cause muscle tissue scarring.
