First and foremost I want to extend a deep thanks to BFG for making the EBC possible. Catalyst you're a soldier for sticking with me during these last few weeks, I appreciate all of the hard work and effort you put into the organizing of this EBC even when faced with what you were going through. Thank you.
A extra special thanks to all of the competitors who entered this EBC and to the amazing Src's who support this competition time and time again. Without you this wouldn't be nearly as much fun:)
To the members who saw this competition all the way through I salute you. It not only takes lots of hard work but it also takes good fortune. Life happens and rarely waits for us to catch up, finishing this thing is an accomplishment in itself. Congrats.
Let me say that this comp was extremely tough and the top 10 was some of the closest scores that I can think of. 6th and 7th place finishers missed the top 5 by 1 and 2 points respectively. It is almost not fair that some of you are not pictured in the top 5. This part of the show is the toughest and most draining part of the EBC for me personally. I have watched you all grow and perform when the money was on the line. I am a huge supporter of all of you and wish I didn't have to narrow it down to a Top 5 . With that said folks I am distinctly proud of this field for the Fall 2014 Free for All.

AnonWell I don't have a problem with you being upset. You are a man and only you can decide on how you carry yourself. And honestly if you weren't upset for finishing out of the top 5 or top 1 for that matter I would honestly lose respect for you.
I saw your post the other night on the original thread I made that happened to crash with te database. I replied to you then as well. You mentioned how you finished the mini contest ahead of Others in this top 5 and that you didn't understand the judging. I went on to tell you that the mini contests were a new venture/creation of mine. I wasn't sure how much participation there would be. As you noticed participation was sparse to say the least. Actually it was so low that catalyst EuroKing and myself were the only judges needed for both the first and second mini contest.
The main EBC competition is judged by a panel of 5 judges. 5 individual score
Cards were tallied up to place competitors. Sorry you didn't make it but I'm also in line with the judges decisions. I support their cards. The top ten scores were so fucking close that there's no way this was done half ass or some personal boycott of you phil.
I've worked my ass off to make this competition worth everyone's time. Spending hours and hours of my time getting this thing big enough to make people want to enter. I feel that I've done a fair job at continuing the line of Organizers that make the EBC a huge positive facet of Eroids. There is not one single person on this top 5 that doesn't look excellent or that doesn't belong there. However there were multiple members not in the top 5 that deserve to be there but unfortunately they aren't. Not everyone gets to be.
If you don't feel the EBC is worth your time Phil then as disappointed as I am that you feel that way I'm not going to try and talk you into changing your mind. I enjoyed having you compete in the EBC and am saddened that you will never compete in another EBC again.

phil113kgCarlos not once have I questioned your efforts you put into these comps and I applaud the positive direction you've guided this EBC. My concern falls on the obscurity of how this judging process went down. Anyone in my position would be concerned after pouring everything into it. I didn't do this comp just to get brownie points or anything like that. I did it to further my goals in the up and coming comps lined up for next year. I don't care about karma points or what people think of me. All I care about when it comes to competing is having enough gear to get the job done. Heck I even hired a diet coach to make sure that I covered all my bases. So not once am I questioning your efforts you poured into this but am concerned about the process of how it is judged. There should never be an issue of other agendas that get in the way of who gets what. Let us see what is hidden in the other hand and there will be a better understanding. When there is hundreds of dollars at stake then yes things should be crystal clear. For example i should be able to ask the judges of any IFBB contest how I fared in the show and what I should improve in "their eyes" that will help me improve for the next show. I can ask for the score card and see what I am lacking. These shows don't have hundreds and even thousands of dollars at stake. So why should it be different in this case? Again my concern is the judging and maybe as well as who were the judges.
AnonZero dollars is spent to run this event. Being held to the same standard as an IFBB competition while flattering does however make me question your grasp of what this event really is and reality in general. Eroids is a small underground steroid review site.
There more I really think about this I regret even letting you get under my skin. No cards are going to get released out of respect to my judges privacy. BFG if you want my cards then all you gotta do is ask homeboy. But until I hear it from you I ain't dogging none of my judges out for nobody
Gear seekers are what disgust me about the EBC. Spamming every SRC they have on their friend list to sponsor them with handouts. Ya fuckers I know who the fuck you are. Excuse me while I vomit in my own mouth!
You are only here for free gear. The EBC was about brotherhood so I wanted to reward that sentiment. Make the EBC grow without letting it be overwhelmed by greed, but members like you are symbols of what is wrong with Eroids and the EBC. ME ME ME ME ME ME.
I should probably shut up but I feel like I need to remind everyone that the orginal intent of the EBC as created by Goth was to get everyone to show us how GREAT their sources gear was instead of all the shit talking about how their gear was FIYAH.. and never any pics posted to show progess or discussion of real gains.. the EBC was devised to SHOW us that THEIR source had good products. I realize that things change, times change, purposes change but this isn't about and never was intended to be something that was done just get the prize. It was about PRIDE and COMMITMENT to a goal or purpose in transforming the self.

I bet any of us nobodies would have been banned if they would have questioned it the way you did on the original page (on the day the site crashed). I'm in awe of everyone who did so well, including you. But don't taint this competition, don't whine about losing. Just move on.
AnonI'll post your score cards when I'm home. You have already gotten more free gear this EBC alone than I have the entire time I've been an organizer. Fucking Phil you're one of a kind brother.
but its judged from start to finish , judged by progress from starting to finish with 3 categories bulk, cut, recomp. So someone could be an ifbb pro but if someone made more progress from start to finish they score higher , this is not a regular bodybuilding competition where you are only judged on what you brought to the table that one day. Just because someone is in phenomenal shape doesn't mean dick in this comp if another person has a transformation they score higher pretty simple.
Is this fact? were you a judge? Just playing devils advocate here, I dont think its that simple as there were some serious transformations that went down. One in particular I'll mention was "Hokie Hulk", the guy looks like a new person.
Its fact. An its explained to all by carlos. I personally dont know the criteria on which the judges judge one and im sure if its like anything any competition where they judge multiple athletes and theres multiple judges they then add the cards up and thats the final score . Pretty simple if you ask me. But youd have to ask carlos for sure.

I think what makes judging so tricky, hard, and complicated is that's their 4 different genres to judge from. This has got to be a complete headache for anyone to judge. So many aspects to look at and evaluate when judging a free for all.
My top 5 completely differs than whats listed, I'm sure yours does too.
Put 5 different judges up their and we'd have a completely different outcome. Not that this helps Phil but it seems to be the only logical answer.

Im stoked man...looking at all the competitors, the outcome could've went many different ways.
So glad I was able to be a part and contribute to this awesome competiton. I got to break all my PRs, attain a weight that I never achieved before, pushed through my barriers and sticking points. Huge boost confidence just knowing what I can really do if I give it 110%.
If it wasn't for Carlos/Catalyst/BFG all who said good job or just a simple thumbs up....I wouldn't have been where I'm at.

I honestly did not expect to place and I'm fine with that, where I went wrong and really hurt me was I thought I was doing a front lat spread and it was in fact a "relaxed" pose showing the lats. After 99 informed me of that I had no choice but to replace it with my abdominal pose I took for really no reason... nothing to really show on an abdominal pose after a dirty bulk lol. I'm just learning about posing as it was honestly never my intent to get into a bodybuilding comps until very recently. Thanks for all your hard work and keeping this thing moving along!
AnonHonestly the smallest decisions really come into play in these comps. Backgrounds and picture quality, diet and compounds, posing and goal precise execution. It all makes a difference and literally this thing was decided by 1 or 2 points here or there. You'll learn from this ebc bro, next time around you'll be able to draw on these experiences.
