DHT conversion bloodwork and hairloss
Here's the thing, I'm 42y/o and I still don;t know if I'm prone to hairloss or not. I have a deep windows peak and a hair line that has receded/moved back through the years. It started in my 20 and continued thru my 30s. But I have no bold spots or actual loss of hair.
I'm on trt 200mg/w and have experienced no hairloss. On a cycle of test e I took 0.5 fina and experienced no hairloss. On a cycle of test e with prop kicker and EQ, I experienced no hair loss, I didn;t take any fina that time.
I shaved my head once and looked like an alien. So I'd rather have hair than not. Having said that, soon enough i'd like try out dbol/tbol as kickers and a mast cycle. Which are all the 'wipe the hair off your head compounds'. Not to mention tren a, which at this time I have to interest in.
There are dna tests out there that claim to tell you if you are prone to hairloss, cost about $1,000. But we all know that hairloss has to do with DHT conversion. So I wouldn't waste my time or money with that.
There's also a blood test you can take that will tell you about your dht conversion levels. I'm wondering if anyone has here has ever taken it, how accurate it is and how to interpret the results.
Any input on the matter is appreciated but please spare me the "just shave your head, get a neck tattoo and nipple ring bro" answer

Already have and use the 1.62%, good stuff.
Sweet. Yeah it worked for me. I was loosing alot of hair on a sus/proviron/deca cycle so my next cycle which was mast/test p/ tren a I used Nizoral and had almost no hair loss.
Do you take finasteride as well? I'm sure you know this but fina and deca together = speedy hair loss, if prone.

Nope no fina. My comment was worded weird I meant my next cycle after the deca cycle. I've actually finished the TMT cycle with almost no hair loss or acne! I used Nizoral twice a week and I kept injections frequent, everyday. Currently I'm on a deca/test e/ var cycle. I'm 4 weeks in.
Keep an eye on it with the mast. That was the worst for me as far as hair loss is concerned although I haven't tried tbol
tbol isn't so bad.. at least i've never had hair loss with it.. I can't speak for others since we all react differently

At 42, you're going to be less prone to those types of sides than you were in your earlier years.
I ran a cycle last year that looked like this::::
Test E....2500/wk
Tren E....1000/wk
D-bol.......100 ED
Not a single sore nipple...not a single strand of hair loss (yes, I counted every strand), and no acne.
So it's possible that you may be out of the woods on hair loss with steroids,,,,although I'm certainly no expert, there has been a lot of anecdotal evidence to suggest that older men are less suseptible to these side effects.
They say if you haven't lost it by your 40s, you're good to go. But I met this 45y/o guy at the gym who run a TMT cycle and it wiped his head clean, dude was devastated but ripped
I've never heard of this? You become less prone to hair loss or MPB as you age?? I'm curious.. Could you elaborate?
I think by 42 if you havnt lost your hair yet, then you are not prone... I think people who are prone will lose most of their hair in 20s and 30s..
That is what I would assume but his post made it sound like there is a difference.. So I just wanted him to clarify in case there is something..
This is what I would like to think as well, having said that, I pretty sure I had fairly low test levels in my 30s and that could have been a posibiliy of why I didn't lose it then. Then again now on TRT no hair loss has happened, so you may very well be right...
What is your opinion goth on this, do you think it could even have more to do with exasperating what is already hereditary and therefore if you were not prone to these conditions without the aas usage it there would not be much of a difference with it?
