Cortisol

ad

I'm just wondering if someone is useing gear do they still have to worry about cortisol and does it matter the food or the training that brings it and what's the best way to stop it or keep it to a minimum if you're in a cutting phase. I'm losing weight but I can't really tell if it's bf or muscle or both. Any help would do thanks

based on the knowedge I have, I would think that cortisol levels would actually tend to be significantly higher in the average man on steroids versus an average man who is not on steroids. epinephrine, also know as the hormone that is produced in the "fight or flight" response, is one of the main regulators of cortisol release/production. men tend to have a stronger and more frequent production of epinephrine due to evolutionary biology as a defense mechanism which testosterone also plays a role in. men needed to always be on alert to defend themselves and their family. when a man, especially one on Super human physiological levels of testosterone, I believe this, by default would cause higher levels of cortisol.

when trying to decide how much this higher level of cortisol will effect fat lose and catabolism of muscle it's hard to determine. there doesn't seem to be much on cortisol in users of high levels of exogenous testosterone. I would say it depends on genetics since that tends to be the ultimate determining factor on most physiological processes. one main benefit of being in high levels of steroids is it makes building or preserving muscle more manageable. therefore, the higher levels of cortisol would only hinder this to a much smaller percentage than the average man who is natural.

in terms of what you could take naturally to help with management of stress and balance mood which could.potentially lead to reduced epinephrine and cortisol production, rhodiola or ashwaghanda seem to help me. the Gaia brand for rhodiola and Himalaya brand for ashwaghanda.

Who knows? I never heard of a supplement that reduces cortisol. But, you can't just ask me to piss all over it either. I don't believe it for sure, but . . .

Bro, yes, you always have to worry about cortisol. There is nothing worse in bodybuilding than to be stressed to the max. Cortisol will adversely impact everything you do in the gym and in the kitchen. You need peace in your life bro. Peace.
