+ 1 Cancer and trt
Hey guys got a few questions for some of u that's on trt prescribe by a doctor. My friend had cancer almost two years ago and beat it but it's took a toll on him. He was a very active guy always working out. Played semi pro football. Just an all around active healthy guy. We grew up together in a small town and he just got put on trt. Before cancer and chemotherapy he had a good test count. He now has a level barely over 200. So the doctor put him on test e at 150mgs every two weeks. He then gave him 18 gauge to draw with and 22 gauge to pin with (completely absurd). The doctor is giving him such a low dose bc of major side affects he could have from having cancer and they think he has a blood disease. Do any of u know anyone that's had cancer and have had to be on trt afterwards and any advice I could give him I would absolutely appreciate.

Rolltide and rageracing, did you guys think about glutamine and hmb for weight loss? I know it's nothing compared to trt but I remember that a few years ago I was buying from a pharmacy product called Juven, designed for muscle loss for cancer and aids patients. It was high dose of hmb, glutamine and arginie. It is not as strong, but def safe to use until you will find out more about trt. Here is a link to a research that might be relevant:

Need to know what type of cancer. Guy I know had prostate cancer and the docs basically want to keep all test out of his system and keep it as low as possible.
Ya and they do all they can to keep igf-1 levels as low as possible. That pct drug triptorelin we use at 100mcg to cause the pituitary to release LH and FSH and restart our test levels, in medicine is actually used to actually do the opposite with certain types of cancers that feed ot testosterone. They use a much higher dose which causes as massive inital dumb of LH and FSH which causes a huge surge of testosterone but then after that theres nothing left, no more LH for the pituitary to release so no more testosterone until a few months later when test levels start to come back again and then they do it again. It pretty much used excusively for prostate cancer.
He had hodgkins lymphoma. Think he was stage three and he had to endure six months of chemo. He's said seizures is a real concern the docs are worried about. They said his bloods to thick and he can't go give blood like we can do.

Honestly the one thing I've always wanted to put my mom on if I could afford it was some good pharma HGH. That is something he could look into. I've studied it enough (I'll post up findings and research I have) that HGH wouldn't have any cons to lymphoma.
In principle I'm not sure there's a lot of solid science to suggest test is contraindicated there. That sounds like a typical non specialised doctors sweeping generalisation from an archaic text book.

I'm not so sure about this doc just by him giving harpoon to pin. Does anybody else use those? To me I thought he'd give him 25 gauge. I'm not experienced with trt and docs.
After my testicular cancer and bollock removal I've got access to a world class oncologist so I'll talk to him for you.
I believe juice affects the lipids profile so it would make his blood even thicker. Might not be such a good idea brother
Ya I know it affects your lipids. I just don't know enough about cancer and trt. Why I was hoping some guys might have had some experiences

This is a great question. My Father was recently diagnosed with cancer AGAIN and he has had enough of the treatments. He has been loosing weight already and he and I have talked about giving him a little test and maybe a little dbol (10mg ed) to try to keep some weight on him and give him a better sense of wellbeing. He litteraly just got released from the hospital this morning and we started talking about it. Im going to start researching this asap. I will let you know what we decide and how we make out. He is a tough German who doesnt want to have the family watch him wither away.
bigmurphI don't know about this was just reading over it they are saying no dbol because of the liver maybe var you can get injectable var and bypass the liver all together.

Idt small doses of dbol would stress the liver that bad. Ik guys used to bridge with dbol at 5-10mg a day. Not sure how it taxed the liver though. I could use inj dbol too.
Not saying its a good or bad idea at that dose but there are guys who take like 5-10mgs ed everyday for years on end, just as a supplumemt like a multivitamin. The increased rate in protein synthesis and the test might cause the cells to grow even faster though, idk though im no doctor. I just went through it with my grandpa about 8 months ago it sucks to see them just weither away. He was old, 87 so he didnt want any treatments and i dont think he was in very much pain due to not going through the harsh treatments.

I'm no expert buddy but dbol doesn't sound good. To harsh on the liver, that might akready be taxed by meds and chemo. Test alone or maybe a low dose of var, but I would still reach out to a medical professional. You don't want to blame your self if sonething goes wrong. Best wishes to you and you family, be strong.
