Blood work

ad

Hey guys I am new to this forum and would appreciate some advice please? Where can I get blood tests done to keep a watchful eye on bp levels etc ? Reside in uk. Hope this is allowed to ask here. My doctor is pretty much against even protein shakes. Cheers

If you're in or near London then these guys are excellent - http://www.bloodhoundonline.co.uk/. I prefer then to medichecks as they draw bloods properly and you can request uncapped testosterone results.

Thanks for this one dacky, I hate drawing blood myself, what test do you request from them?

If you go to their top menu and click on "athletes" they have a list of all hormones as individual tests. If you select a certain number you get a discount which increases the more tests you add. This should be automatically applied on checkout.

You will also see three have a full biochemistry and haematology profile which includes lipids, liver function and renal function for a very reasonable price although you can get three through your NHS GP if you have a good enough reason.

I have provided some advise to them on what's needed but want to clarify I am in no way affiliated with them and receive no kickbacks/inducements. Any issue just email them at the address on the website and the doctor who runs the lab will get back to you. He is incredibly helpful. Any other questions just shout.

Edit: I forgot to add that if you're on cycle a s looking for an uncapped testosterone test they can do this which no other lab in the UK that I know of does. But you must email them to discuss.

+1 for medichecks but they don't mention that for an accurate testosterone result you should fast and take the sample/test soon after waking up.

I did bloods in the afternoon and my free test was very low for a man my age but fasted and early in the morning my test level was at the highest end of high, with no steroids, and free test was normal

It's pretty basic but if you're doing a basic test only cycle it's probably all you need unless you have other health factors to consider. I'd really like to find a more thorough blood test to include things like rbc. However the test above is about £50 and you want to do it at least three times, pre,mid and post cycle after PCT. i did my mid cycle test at the start of week 6 and then started running an AI and I think next time I'd do another test about week 9 to fully understand how I react to the adex, without these test you just don't know for sure where your levels are at.
