Anyone on PrEP?
Anyone out there on PrEP and have any good advice on whether the regular doctor visits should be a concern while on a cycle? (If you don't know what I'm talking about I'm referring to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis where I take a pill a day that gives me protection from contracting HIV.) I'm starting PrEP and I have a couple of concerns.
First, should I be concerned that anything will get red flagged when I do my lab work while on a cycle? I know they'll be drawing blood to test for HIV and urine to check my kidneys. I'm not sure what other specific tests they'll be doing.
Second, since I'll be visiting the doctor every three months, how do I explain gains in weight. I've only done two cycles under my belt. (Just finished my 2nd and starting PCT next week so will be a few months before my next cycle.) My first was Test E + dianabol and my second was Test E + winstrol. My goals are to become harder, not bigger. My doctor's office gets a download of my weight from my Withings scale (which I think I'm going to sever now) and on my last visit he questioned the jump in weight during my dianabol cycle. Any advice here?
Last, any drug interactions I should be wary of with the Truvada? Should I stay away from orals? I don't know if bringing these questions to my GP is a good idea or not....

The tests your doctor will be doing are:
a.) hiv PCR tests that actually measure levels (if any) of hiv in your system, as opposed to the less expensive, more widespread hiv antibody tests. It is important that you are certain of your hiv status, and discontinue PrEP if you were to seroconvert.
b.) the other tests that he/she is concerned with are kidney function tests. Truvada can (in some people) cause kidney issues.
I don't see where being on cycle or off would make a difference in the testing that they are doing.
As far as weight gain goes, Truvada can sometimes cause slight weight loss, so they may notice a gain, and may scratch their heads, but I don't think it would be an issue.
