Anyone else have AFib and lift?
So I’ve been diagnosed with AFib and I want to see if anyone else out there lifts with it as well. I also have POTS which could be a contributing factor but that’s a different topic. I’ve had 3 different episodes of AFib over the past 5 years. The most recent episode was a few days ago. I’ve been on bystolic (a beta blocker) for the last two years and I have been able to workout fine over the last two years. Now I’m on flecainide to keep me in rhythm.
I am only on trt and have been for several years, I’m 44 years old. when I do “blast” I don’t go above 400 mg of test. And I might add Ostarine or some t bol. I don’t think aas has anything to do with my AFib. I have never abused them. I could be as simple as my magnesium and potassium levels were too low thanks to nexium.
I’ve actually read the opposite and that low T can cause AFib. Is there anyone else out there who had any AFib experience or that works out with it. I have to take it easy for the next few weeks and then slowly start exercising again. I was making the best recomp ever with just 200mg test and Ostarine before this happened.

I would speak to your cardiologist and see what they say about you weigh training with AFib.
Molinin302I'm not a physician, please keep this in mind. Ok, arterial fibrillation is the Chambers of the heart beating out of sync. The heart does not beat on its own, like every other organ and muscle it receives signals how to operate. Your signals aren't getting through and/or received correctly. Ok, with this being said, exercise is good for your body. Testosterone will not cause these signals to received or transmitted correctly. You could fall on the floor curling 135 on a straight bar or walking to your kitchen because you have a taste for an apple. Medication is your best friend in this case, without getting into detail two weeks ago I found a person on the floor because she neglected to take her meds. She's still in rehabilitation. I'd say you're good to go, just be smart. Take your meds, see your cardiologist, and keep your other systems in tip top shape. Best wishes
Thanks man, I appreciate it. Yeah I understand it’s an electrical issue in the upper chambers and can come out of nowhere or be triggered. The most common triggers for AFib is alcohol, nicotine, caffeine or any stimulates and I avoid them all minus a glass a wine or a cold beer here or there. Testosterone however isn’t completely understood when it comes to AFib as far as my research shows. I’ve read that low t can be a trigger on contributing factor and I recently just read the aas in general can contribute to it.
Molinin302Yeah man, everyone's body is different, we all react differently to various substances. People legitimately expire from preworkout drinks and energy drinks. It's fascinating honestly. All I can suggest is pay attention to your body and your PCP. I have a feeling you'll be just fine. Every now and then you have to put some trust in yourself as well. Know what I'm saying?
Truth, some of those pre workout and energy drinks are death in a bottle.
