Anyone else get ousted because of your training intensity? :/

ad

Okay guys I come here for everything I need-diet research training tips gear research-ya know the important stuff. So now I need advice on friends :/
I literally just got home from visiting a long time friend who happens to sell.
At his house I was telling him about my day at the gym when three random scrawny fuckin stoner faggots start arguing with me about training and fighting saying strength doesnt matter in a fight and downplaying the importantance of strength training and excercise.
I was then ousted from further conversation andthe mood changed for the worst.
Keep in mind i "look" like a heavy steroid user...
That said so you think im being too alpha trentarded or am I just around the wrong kinda people??
Do you get ousted in public for being tall bald tatted and juiced too??
This isn't the first time either. People love arguing out of absolutely no where with me about training. . .

As someone who lifts and trains MMA, strength training plays a huge role.

Bro they were just mad cause they knew in the back of there heads that you would easily rag doll them around.

Roid Noid's picture

cant say ive had many people talk to me like that and im sure theres a shit load thats mad! I can sense it when I catch them looking at me. generally when people talk to you like that they surely arent scared of you.

Barabbas's picture

Lmao...some ppl are all bark sir. Im only 5 '6 and 190 so I have had the 6ft guy that thinks he is a bad ass talk to me like that. And have proved that his talk was all that just talk.

Peace, love and bodybuilding....

Why are you in the gym? If your like me, you're not there for anyone but yourself. Get in, get out and move and if someone starts shit just laugh it off. Everyone thinks they know "better" so just let then think that and go about your business.

Good luck brother

people like that are not worth a min of your time. hell who knows what their hang up is, jealously more than likely. as a former combat Marine who trained his mind and body skillfully, there is always someone who knows more and size isn't the determining factor. speed applied to technique equals power...

Bro, let's take a little reality break. I've put a lot of years of training in and I realize that some one half my size and 1/3 rd of my strength could destroy everything I've worked for if he knows what he's doing. The guy could be an ex combat vet, trained fighter - I don't care what - but one kick on the side of my knee could break it in such a way that I'm finished (just as an example). Just because you think you can break your opponent in half - just don't get involved, don't make it escalate - you never know what you are dealing with.

If your bullshittin at the gym I hope it's after your workout not during.

Focus on work, training, hardworking in general. Keep your ear buds in. Smile and wave and work harder.
That will fix your emotional state. Don't worry about them. Worry about you

Friends come and go. and true friends won't try and tear you down. If its a good ol bs conversation down play it bc it sounds like they are wanting to get under your skin. if my buddies find out i don't like something they try and give me a hard time. but its out of fun. i also know when I'm cycling I take things WAY out of context. But maybe try hanging out with some people who are like minded. who have the same goals in life as you.

Not worth the time or aggravation. If what your doing is working for you, results speak for themselves.

Sounds like you're hanging around with some dickheads. Walk away, who cares about "who would win in a fight", are they 12 years old?

Some men will always be "little boys" brother......
