What is the best OTC cure for curing the dreaded TEST ACNE that yall have found to work best for you!!!!!
my girl is a Hairstylist and sold a product called CYCLIC it is awesome for acne google it.and its not that expensive. we get it in amazon now.It really works
Tetralysal caps and Differin gel worked for me! Not sure if OTC though...
AnonWhat worked for me was removing wheat and milk from my diet. Although Accutane works for most people the liver toxicity and AAS is asking for trouble.
Northern Gearone word. ACCUTANE
Anonso bad on ya liver tho
ClearPores Acne Treatment - clearpores.com Just wanted to write and say that I'm VERY satisfied with my purchase.
Anonlmao.. so is GEAR.. you can't take it for extended periods of time, I take mine for two weeks and then go every other day and take at least two weeks off.
Anonapparently that is a dirty word here..
Northern Gearerrmm, takes deep pockets, but works...dont see anything dirty, must be missing something if poopy-fingers is calling ACCUTANE of all things dirty...LOL
Anonlook here Mister Gear.. I am very meticulous in cleaning myself... I already have Accutane and use it.. and it works great.. however, if you would continue to scroll down SOME people in here want to say how horrible and evil it is.. additionally, if you know where to get it the cost is reasonable, the results are good.
Northern Gearteehee its all fun and games ;)
Anonit IS quite fun..;-)
MultipurposePantothenic acid(B5) for acne. Supposedly it works, I have never tried it though. There are many pages and articles about this topic, here is one. http://www.vitaminb5acne.com/
AnonYou have to super load it for it to have any noticeable effect and at that dose your doing more harm than good. I started having esophageal spasms that landed me in the hospital.
If your still thinking of running B5, read this..

Anonivory soap seems to do the trick its pure soap
Anonit has moisturizer in it..
blasphamy grrrrl its as pure as you were exiting the womb.
pure what i dont know but it is all i use because my skin is sensitive to perfumes, dyes and certain moisterizers and since ivory has very little of those it works best for me. my wife just got ne a $12 bar of some stuff called nu skin that has little fragerence and dyes
Anonwell that doesn't mean there are no moisturizers in it... just no fragrance or dyes.. I use stuff from arbonne, no animal fats, nothing, no fragrance, no oil.. it is vegan certified too..
i know, i know, dont yell at me. spank me but dont yell at me. what is the stuff you got, i would like to look into that. i see lots of makeup on the site. whats the soap called.?
AnonI use the RE 9 regularly but for the acne I am using the Clear advantage.. It works GREAT..
damn grrrrl high mantainance... that stuff is expensive. i will look into it though may be able to get free samples. my girl works for the dermi doc. ;-)
its what i use and it actually is keeping it under control.
Alcohol swabs ... Rub it a few times a day...
Anonthat could backfire on you.. if your too dry your skin will try to compensate by secreting MORE oil and then you are in a worse position than when you started..
stfuandliftbtchbenzyl. perox 10%
Depends where your at.. on cycle or off.. I usually take some arimadex for a week or two during my cycle if my acne gets bad, and when I'm off and I still have it then I take the arimadex for a week.. been my bread and butter.. just drink lots of water and try to hit the tanning bed..
For acne espically on shoulders and back,,try tanning it drys out your pores ..work for me in my younger days..cheap and medicine free,,,
AnonYou 'cannot' get Accutane in the United States .
Due to the fact that it caused birth defects during Pregnancies.
It is however available overseas. I got mine from Eurobolic.
Pm' HardbdyGurl, she got hers from another source on here.
Ps.Don't be afraid- she doesn't let Goth see her PM's. (EG)
Yeah, you have to have a prescription in the States.
AnonNo, you cannot get it with a prescription. It has been banned in
the states.
EODguyMust be YOUR STATE, but I doubt it since I got it perscribed to me in Michigan last week by my dermatoligist.
AnonHey can you send us the name of the doctor too (so I can go to Michigan and see if I can get some)? If you are a woman, it is very rare to get this type of prescription and you have to sign your life away as well as commit to two types of birth control if you are child bearing age.. translate this is YOU (female) aren't going to get NONE..
look at ab for isotretinoin $40... sides can be horrible though.. You would probably be better off w/ a topical... ziana (clindamycin phosphate 1.2% and tretinoin .025%) works awesome but is pricey.. It's topical, so if dryness occurs u quit using, where as pill form is in your sysmen and drys out entire body including spinal fluids and joints/sockets... It is commonly prescribed to women, but i hope u have insurance.
AnonI already have some. I have tried topical everything just about and the accutane is working. I ll be done with it another day or too and yes I am experiencing the dryness however, it is not permanent and much preferred to the acne. I am keeping my dosage quite low as I am aware of the sides. thanks for the info, though.
Give them a vote if you find it helpful.Permalinkno prob, I am full useless info...
Anonyou should share more often then.. there are many here who have none..;-)
Guess I am more of a reader, I think that a lot of folks on here would be better off if they read more... lol
AnonI cant argue with that statement.
i have boxes of that stuff. all samples that get dropped at the derm. i just did some quick research and the company that founded it stopped because of lawsuits but you can still get it other ways. "through pharmacies" the article said. but yea i still canget it locally.
Looks like Accutane is just a trade name for isotretinoin. Isotretinoin is heavily regulated by the FDA. Dermatologists can still prescribe it, but it looks like they have to "register" their patients.
I went to the derma about two weeks ago and the first option we talked about was Accutane. Weird...are there different types of Accutane?
other then going to the dermatologist is there any other way to get Accutane or something similar? I have just used cetaphil and went tanning in the past but god damn test is kicking up my body acne
For over the counter, you want to look for something with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid as active ingredients in it. My skin has always responded better to benzoyl peroxide but you may want to try both. Avoid stuff with "exfoliating" crap in it because that can actually irritate your skin even more.
I just bit the bullet and went to the dermatologist and got some prescriptions. I was clear in a few days. Also, if they do prescribe you Accutane (probably won't unless your acne is pretty hardcore), they'll do regular blood work to make sure you're not getting fucked up. I tried it and my cholesterol shot through the roof so I had to discontinue.
AnonI am 47 and had acne problems my whole life. Accutane is hard on your Bro! My issue was wheat, milk and soy. I removed these from my diet and my skin is something I am now proud of even though I have scars from my belly up. I highly suggest the dietary route ESPECALLY running gear and Accutane is trouble.
I'm only a few years behind you and have had it all my life; increased while on.
Have never thought that the wheat or dairy could be behind it (I don't eat soy). Giving up dairy would be a bitch for me :(
Anonwell if your gonna get rid of the dairy don't switch to soy... It has phyto-estrogens in it and it blocks the conversion of T4 into T3... try rice milk if you just have to have the calories.
AnonAs long as you use it-for the right amount of time -right dose.. It will be ok..:)
Yes, I agree w/ the dairy totally .( it is very mucus forming). However the hormones
are causing this- acne.♥
AnonI never had probs with acne until I started using gear...so accutane is the only thing that has worked for me
AnonAccutane I m using it... works ..the only thing..do not use proactive it changes the Ph of your skin makes it worse and stops working...
AnonPro-active is scam.. just one of those many things to take ur money -w/ no cure..☺
