+ 11 AAS Site or much much more...
So I wanted to remind everyone of something in Eroids past and even let members who were not part of this particular past in on a little secret.
It came up again yesterday in Gsleepy's new thread that Eroids is an AAS site and I like to flush those single minded thoughts out before they can spawn so let me take you all through a bit of Eroids history and reminder.
There was a time when Eroids was in fact "just an AAS site". Its a time I don't like to be reminded of because this site while informative was nothing like today and was truly destined to never grow up.
If you were here you will remember our old Mod Hollywood taking myself and a few others for getting off topic often to task. Most of the guys here , I say guys because we only had one female on site, basically bowed to H and hugged his nuts and went on with there day mouth shut. I didn't, not in my DNA. I sorta began getting on his nerves. Threats in public and private to ban me. My words , do it.
My thoughts were then as they were yesterday when I saw the nasty phrase come up again "this is an AAS site".....without our individual personalities we cannot grow as a community. In fact, we can't be a community at all. I fought a?ong with a few that joined me tooth and nail and the resolution with BFG was that "OFF TOPIC" was born. As it was H was still rolling around being H and wanting it to be tame and trying to police the off topic in a way thatg it was what "he" wanted. That of course was not happening while my tag did not have a BAN under it.
I poured a shit ton of time into this site to help it become a family of AAS users and a place where we could all have a say and all blossom as individuals and my work along with many others at least "helped" Eroids become what it is today.
This site was ok, it was a cool place for basic info but go back and look at it in its former days. IT WAS NOT THIS, THE GREAT PLACE YOU ARE ALL ADDICTED TO AS AM I. It was an AAS site and that's it....
Today, its a community based around an AAS site, don't get confused and if you had other thoughts...you have been corrected ; )
PS...H and I grew to respect one anothers boundaries later and actually got along very well. That's saying maybe more about me than him if you knew H. Lol

tread-mTrue story right there! Lol.....not even close to matched brother. The statement "this is an AAS review site" was true at one time, that's all it was and it sucked nutz through a straw when compared to now. To call it an AAS review site now is like calling Lowes a wood store. It truly is that silly no exaggeration!
Eroids is a comunnity as I said earlier based around an AAS review site. My statement was not in question form and my word on it while subject to anyones opinion is not debatable. We can however discuss it as long as we agree on that fact. Gregs words below actually speak best to my own reflection. 99% of the people on this site could not carry Gregs water and this is why I told you to get to know him. He's as solid a human being as there ever was and his thoughts and opinions are never clouded with anything but fact. We have had some good Mods on this site over the yrs and some guys who pour themselves into it but this man would make the best Mod the site would ever know. He is provoked always by thought and fact alone and never tempered and always brings the steadiest hand into the surgery room. He would be even handed and all he did would be without profanity or anger or even simple one sided opinion with democratic thoughts and most of all, kindess and thought to the individual. You simply cannot shake him and anything he says, I listen to without any thought of interjection. I simply listen and learn! So in this case, once again, he is the most reasoned and brings the simple yet most complex fact of the matter right to terms a 3 yr old can understand. Btw, your thoughts are much appreciated and spot on as well.

AnonTread I generally dont start naming the people who have my deep admiration, but yes indeedy Greg is one of them.
I guess Id say to guys like Hollywood how do you intend on attracting such bright minds and great personalities if you keep the site like a text book.
I feel the site must now regulate its self. If a thread is created and no one is interested it will drop, while others ramain atop the page for days . You have created a great system, now it can stay as the premier destination for people like us.

I was going to write this up in a post I am getting ready to do but I'll say it here as well. This whole forum is as close as you will every get to medical studies in my opinion. There is absolutely no reason in the world to run a study on huge quantities of steroids and stacked cycles in the medical community. In fact it would probably be perceived as unethical in the medical community seeing as there is medical reason to run copious amounts in a normal human subject let alone 100 healthy men with blood work on a daily basis to chart the results.
So what we have here is more than just opinions on sources and gear. We have a shitload of meat heads.....but they are smart as hell and with the experience and the ability to qualify and quantify their trials and successes into useful and meaningful data that can be used to better the community as a whole, I cannot imagine anyplace I would rather learn then here.
The talent pool is incredible here but the friendships although they are virtual at this point in time are even better. Eroids like Ollie said, is "Like coming home". This place consumes so much of my thoughts and time that I feel closer to this community than any other.
From Guru's right on down to basic level members, the valuable input that resides on this site is second to none. ( Admin level too, for BFG is the Hub of this whole gig ) If you cant fine it here, chances are you won't find it anywhere else.

I remember those days and the debate around whether or not to create the "off topic" Forum.
I also remember hollywood before he was a mod -nice guy, he always said power corrupted... then he drank his own cool-aid when he became a mod... but I digress...
I argued this then and will parrot Tred now; what makes this more than an AAS review site is the off topic area. Without it there would not likely be as tight knit of a community. You'd visit, find a source, and leave.
With it you bond with other members and feel freer to discuss, debate, and share ideas, failures and successes.
You learn members strengths, cry_havic with his charts, sexymexy and his gyno (solutions), Tred and HGH, ED, well, I won't go there, most of what he brings to the table is banned even in Bangkok... The list of talent and expertise from eroids members is long and broad.
Sure eroids is a source review site first and foremost. But look at the forums. It is also an AAS site, TRT site, wellness site, fitness site, diet site, exercise site, rehab site, how to site, sex help site, BS site. etc...
tread-mPerfect words! You found what I was lacking as always and that of course is an appreciation I have for you. To add you to the list above I'll say this, Greg is the most solid member of this commu nity in my opinion.
Always helpful, waaaaaay deep in his research when speaking on anything be it life , love, the pursuit of happiness or AAS. I'll say this further, you'll be hard pressed to find a more solid member of society much less a site on the net. Surround yourself with people like this and you will succeed in life!

Well, in some respects you're right! This place has grown into something much bigger than what BFG envisioned! The off topic is a place to shoot shit about damn near anything. As for gsleepys thread , when I first saw Viking post in it saying "Hold the phuck up don't get your panties in a bunch just yet", I knew exactly where he was going and I was waiting for it quite frankly. We discussed it behind closed doors and we were told my the boss to remind them that something like that is NOT for public consumption and it needs to be in an interest group that's why he made the groups. For just about anything unrelated to eroids or aas! The bottom line ,This IS an aas review site , and BFG will be the first to remind anyone who forgets it (i know because he has had to remind me in the past). So while I personally respect everyone and their views, I try to be as fair as I possibly can, I still have a job to do. And I plan on carrying it out! That particular topic is sensitive to some ppl. Your buddy Bellona, she left the site for months after some horndog asked her to please post ass shots in the last wife day! You think I can allow that to happen again? If anyone wants to participate in anything off topic In any group, they're entitled. They can trade and download pics of their dogs gettin down for all I care. tread-mAbsolutely got your point and knew what you meant but same time I didn't want others to misconstrue your thoughts. Easily done in a group this large. BFG knows my thoughts on it and I'd gladly bow out and leave if he ever decided the old eroids was better. He won't do that though we both know. He actually posted shots of old day eroids and new not that long ago showing how amazing it has become.
I think my post comes from a place where I know you don't just fight for freedom, you continue to fight to keep it and OFF TOPIC is worth a fight. You and I both know what I mean and what you meant but others need reminding too on occassion, we have something pretty amazing here and I'd battle "the man " himself for that. I would not last long but I stand for what I believe in and not what's easy.
As to Bellona and her situation or any others in the same scenerio...no one person on the site has stood up stronger for women than I. The Only reason I even replied to this thread is the example you used. Gsleepys thread. While its an off topic issue its also a touchy subject for some. Some women think its flat out degrading others would flash the truck driver in the next lane. I don't know which are which so it is my job to draw clear lines. That was it. Mrs. Nitti actually made the comment and I affirmed. Her point was nobody came to eroids looking for naked wife pics. They came for legit steroid sources. As simple and black and white as that sounds, we get that there's more to eroids than that. It's evolved into something completely different. Some ppl would call it home. I know I do. I am just a commoner on this site but to touch on what you and Tread have said.....and I agree with both of you and take your positions firmly. I was furious that, that kind of shit went down on here. To be so disrespectful of any member let alone a female member showing such a great picture in good faith that she will be respected as a strong female member only to be treated in such a manner is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. In the navy I had the pleasure of serving under Admiral Richards. He said one of the most profound things I have ever heard..."Once you make an exception that exception becomes the standard" I have always taken that to heart in anything I do.
What I am saying here and I will shut up; is that we as a community are our brothers keepers. It should not be only the Mods that stand up for people is should be every individual who cares about this community. That being said there are young guys who are cocky and do not know what boundaries are and need to be punched in the head sometimes to be shown and there are older members who know better and are just assholes and they need to be shown the door. The hard part for anybody is to discern the difference.
Who knew you were such a rebel you old silver back! I remember Hollywood and the days of old...er and personally got tired of reading the same old topics being covered again and again. We needed to expand our frame of thought and our position as a community to grow. So thanks for kicking and screaming!
PS. I liked Hollywood. I must admit I think it would be hard to maintain your easy going self and be a mod. So much responsibility and work. I have to applaud the mods on here who have maintained their humility yet kept a steady hand on matters of importance. I do not think that is an easy task and know I wouldn't want the job!
tread-mYou would need 6 figures to interest me in that job brother! I have told BFG in a pinch at anytime I'd help just because I love the man and his vision but as to full time MOD, no thanks. I'd rather spend those 10 hrs a day as some spend with people close to me or making dollazzzzzzz. Now if I could do all 3 and be here I would in a heartbeat, that's just not possible. We have a good group, any group will get over the top on occassion but that's personal demons and we all have them. My concern always is the change I see in good people as they take those jobs. The current group, all friends to me have done well to maintain their own self image and keep perspective as to who they really are. In other words, not let it go to their heads "too much". Another reason the job is a tough call, you kinda "have to" lose yourself to some degree to take it. Tough to plah friend and moderator all in one. Having said so, this group does well and I appreciate them. Except for that Viking dude, he's a crazed lunatic for phuk sake! Naaaa hell he's my fav not to lessen the friendship of any of the others. He and I have history and so much in common. Hell once a month we go killin together. We don't take Ed anymore Ed "hunts". Thanks Tread. It's because guys like you here taking the time to really explain things out to me is why I'm still here reading learning and posting.
During my first test cycle here Tread and Many others like Rusty, Snuka, Cam2012... They all spent there life's time on helping me acheive my goals. I lost 50 pounds, Hit my target goal of 186 less than 10% fat, and I started fucking the counter girl at the Gym.
Now I get great advice from so many member's I cant list them all. And All in all, none of my bros here flamed me when I made stupid mistakes, they all just helped steer me correctly.
