cornfedjthall that being said if you start taking em most like it will become a habit its hard to argue that it wont seeing as most of my graduating class have been hooked on em at sum point pretty bad even jits that are still in high school poppin pills i cant say anything i started at just poppin them once in a while at 14 my addiction didnt become full blown till i was 21 and got into a doctor i did it to make extra money making 4gs a month but what do i got to show for it now not shit blew money i was everyones bestie when i was hustlin i was so fuckn stupid i could be in prison or dead ive lost my nephew last year he was only 22 lost my best friend 2 years ago i dont even know how many people i went to scholl with lost their live to opiate abuse its up their prob around 30 people i just wanna get people to treat em like poison dont fuck with em please
Please remember that "abuse " and use are two different things
As is
Addiction and dependence
And addicted person will snort all there pills in five days
A dependent patient will hide ten pills in the cabinet for a emergency supply
Two different trains of thought completely
Also if not abused route wise ie IV or snort
Only about 10% patients have any addiction issues what so ever with less than 90 day co commitment use of Instant and controlled release tablets of opiate preparations within normal non tolerant doseage schedules less than 100mg equal morphine dose
I was taught that abuse was the act of using, since it is an illegal or harmful substance, and dependence is when you have a need, not want, for the drug. In the case of opiates many will become dependent from daily use since it is not just mentally addictive, but physically also. Users are depending on the drug to not be dope sick and to function.
GearofWarIndeed. I was a user in every sense of the word. Still am I suppose. Just legally and medically supervised is all. I traded one addiction for another when I got on a Suboxone "rehab" program. I'm now struggling to kick this shit too. Don't get me wrong, bupe is a great med but it'll enslave you just as hard as the best dose of H can.
cornfedjthi got put on methadone was on it for 5years worst shit ever i used to get perscribed 180oxy30s 180methadones and 60xanax a month for five years its pretty easy in florida to get scripts its all a money game i was paying 200 bucks a month per visit i was selling most but had a serioud addiction i sold the most the oxys and took the methadones worst shit ever talking bout withdrawls for 6 months getting back in the gym was an monumental overtaking to say the least
i spent several years abusing (thats putting it lightly) opiates. never ate on them, i dropped down to 128 lbs at 5'10" and 21 years old. haven't touched them for years now. when i started working out again it changed my life, i can't imagine ever touching them. all i care about now is gains, and i know opiates would kill that. I have been off them for over 5 years now, started working out for the first time since high school on the day i quit. did it naturally for over three years, been running gear for the last two. now im up to 208 and still going. congrats on recovering bro, it isn't easy. but the gym sure helps.
Chronic use of opiates has long been associated with lower levels of androgens, hypogonadism, adrenal dysfunction, pituitary dysfunction, reduced bone mineral density, and growth-hormone abnormalities. In addition, some studies have suggested abnormalities in glucose and lipid metabolism among opiate users. Studies have shown that long-term opiate use may lead to opiate induced hypogonadism, resulting in significantly decreased testosterone levels in men.
^ correct
Good post dude
I didn't have the urge to get laid when I was on dope. The dope was my bitch........... That doesn't sound right, I was the dopes bitch. I had no libido when I used, since im an all in or all out kind of guy. From the title I pictured juiced up dopefiends on the streets strong-arming the innocent for drug and food money.
oxy and heroin gave me no desire to fuck, let alone get a hard on...or move, eat, go to work, be social, go to the gym, care about life in general.
horrible existence.
see that is weird, i have heard that from almost every one, but i had the best sex every single night on both of them. my gf back then and i would both get high and fuck the entire night long, every night for years. after opiates, i feel like sex is almost ruined because its never been the same since then. but i do think the years of abusing them left my test levels non existent. oxy heroin and coke were the only things that made me want to do anything back then. even with that, it was like you said, a horrible existence.
That's how I feel after having sex on e night after night all night long for a few years , sex is just never the same. We would fuck non stop from 7 pm till 6 am literally non stop, talk about cardio, that shit was intense. Oh and we were both on oxy at the time too, but the e made sex amazing.
You are correct, you can jackhammer away for hours at the beginning, but eventually every day use will lead to suppression, especially if you are using some large amounts of some killer dope. IV is also different than snorting or smoking, your tolerance skyrockets from either, but you will always get a higher % of the opiates in your system with IVing it.
i think i really noticed the surpression after i stopped. i don't know if that has a lasting affect on lowering your androgens, or if its just while you're on it. but i still really feel like it had a lasting affect, even all these years later.
After 2 weeks clean I started having wet dreams in rehab, then I knew my shit was coming back with a vengeance.
I generally take one 7.5 norco a day. Not abusing at all, been that way many years. I am a roofing contractor and one 7.5 in the morning really helps. I have always limited myself to a maximum of two in one day and that is only if I am really hurting. My question is is that small a dose anything to be concerned with as far as AAS?
WithdrawlBack in the day I was up to 10 norcos and 6 methadone tabs a day and was almost as big as I am now. Everyone is different but one or two norcos a day isn't anything to be concerned about in my opinion.
cornfedjththats a pretty low dose you should be good norcos arent that strong as oxys norcos have more tylenol in them than hydrocodone i was poppin up to 8 oxy30s a day i tore my mcl and got perscribed them i started at two a day and then ending up there just wanted to shed some light on what seems to be a trend i dont want anyone to go thru what i did
3PUMPCHUMPwow a quarter gram of oc in a day, fucking doctors are stupid sometimes...
Some patients in the grams per day; although very rare
^ yes you read that right thousands of mg of oxycodone hcl per day
Opiate tolerant to the extreme
Although more common to see
Common 300mg +
Take 8 ;30mg IR plus 3; 80mg ER per day is 480mg per day
Not everyone reacts to 5mg Norco x 3 per day
Also some Fent patients their morphine equalling amount is sometimes is the 30000 mg per day range with cancer terminal patients
^ wild shit my man
Take this
Male patient
6000 mg Oxy IR roxicodone liquid concentrations made by compound pharma
Yes cancer pain patient , terminal patient as well
But 6g a day
The DEA paperwork alone each month takes a pharmacist over two hours focused only on that med fill!
Wow dude. At least you woke up man, congratulations. I kind of thought that was what everyone was getting at.
I'm in Florida too brother. 2 yrs clean off that bullshit congrats on a year clean opiates are horrible they ruin lives
Floridian use about 85% of the entire Oxycodone USA supplies per year
Why
Bc heroin is everywhere else . We do NOT see almost any "Mexico tar" ; although there is ECP (powdered H) in Fl
It's an epidemic
Anyone who needs help
Might not be off opiates but buperenorphine and methadone are much more livable opiates bc of the extremely long half life
Although unless your a daily heavy IV user maybe the week long sickness is what you should do and change your life
You will think your dying but directly related to opiate withdrawal only it will not kill you
Being dehydrated can though
So watch out
Any ER will give an opiate addicted person maintainance treatment to stop withdrawal S/S (signs/symptoms)
This belongs in "General discussion". Not AAS section. This section is for the discussion of steroids! I agree with Juice2. Next time post things like this in the recovery lounge!
3PUMPCHUMPSorry for the struggle bro but I would say there is a benefit and that would be better more improved rest. If you have willpower you can do it here and there. The day after a badass leg workout? Also isn't speed there are a lot of people who can eat just fine or even more. Biggest drawback is that they increase estrogen which is baaadd mmk.
cornfedjthidk bro they seem to effect my appetite i was using them to the extreme though,i can vouch for the estrogen increase my doc told me opiates actually lower your test and make you fatter if you use them like i did i hade a year long lay off from liftin cause i was so strung out holly shit did i get fat and weak start back was fuckin horrible weakest ive ever been its crazy how they have such a profound effect on your body granted iwasnt eating hardly while using and when i was it was junk i just dont wanna see anyone go thru what i did thats why i posted this i feel like a million bucks now beast mode
They don't decrease everyone's appetite. I can eat as much as I wanted on them. I just chose to spend my cash on more drugs instead of food. Maybe you should post this in the recovery lounge next time. To the guy above. Opiates don't improve rest, as you will not get true rest. They will impair your senses however and make you feel like you've recovered when you may not Have. They are very addictive and are not a great tool for healthy exercising especially bodybuilding. I still don't really understand why thread was created though. Just because your personal experiences with respiration issues and whatever else, does not make it the same for everyone. Anyway, I'm on a mission to stop use of stupid fucking phrases as well, like "beast mode" so that's a big reason I posted
cornfedjthhey juice2 cry me a river are you the forum police why dont you keep the negative comments to urself maybe i posted this because opiate addiction is an epidemic in our country and in florida where i live especially and i see it everyday with people i know who abuse them and take aas as well its dangerous and ur a doushe if think think not oh yeah "beast mode" all day every day cause im a beast
