Every time I try to add a friend it shuts down my browser....? Using the only internet I have on my Android.

Thank you BFG! Would Firefox be a good browser to use?
I'm guessing you're using HTC desire / wildfire or a similar phone?
I've had a few people complain about that, mostly from those with older android versions.
If you can, try installing a different browser on your phone or update your system (if you're feeling adventurous).
I'll provide an additional link to your pending friend list, hopefully that'll work.
