I assume to are talking about pre cycle blood work. The pretty standard is the female hormone panel. Can get it from privatemdlabs.com or labsmd.com. That lets you know your baseline for your HPTA so you know when and if you have recovered.
Is it the female hormon optimization panel?
It is called: Hormone Panel for Females. Gives CBC, E2, LH, FSH and Testosterone.
Privatemdlabs.com costs about $60
Labsmd.com costs about $73 but has more accurate E2 testing and gives test number above 1500 so I prefer labsmd.
How do I find out what my levels should be? Will they tell me
Most people will recommend the "female panel" from privatemedlabs.com but if your looking to get pre-cycle bloods done to see where baseline is at then I would just go into your PCP and have them order tests for you. If you're covered then a copay will be less then the cost for private labs.
Yessir I meant the precycle bloodwork. I am gonna go to my pcp. But I was wondering what to get tested for. I can just go on that website and pull up the female panel and take that to dr?
If yout have insurance and a Pcp just tell them you want a full blood work up with testosterone and estrogen.
Yea, they'll crack your insurance 500+ and then your paying your yearly deductible for something that costs $60 done privately.
Is it the female hormone optimization panel off of that site that I need?
He's not getting all those bloods i mentioned for $60!
If he has good insurance through work he should just have co pay. Example for me $25.00.
Female hormone panel is what he needs. I have bomb ass insurance, fucking amazing. My January bloodwork was 1k to my insurance. Of that, I have a deductible I paid for $300. Even if my deductible was met, I'm paying 10%. All this dude needs is the $60 femal hormone panel from privatemdlabs
Yeah but he's not getting cholesterol, liver etc etc checked. Imo before you jump on gear get everything checked.
Yea I don't have to pay anything when I get bloodwork done thru my insurence. So basically just tell my pcp I want a full test with estrogen and testosterone levels? Or should I print out the famale panel out of that website and tell him that I want that?
When's the last time you had a full blood work done?
If its been over a year, tell them you want a full blood work up or yearly work up is what they call it with testosterone and estrogen. If you only have an office visit like i do its cheaper this way.
Yes it has been over a year. Yea I won't have to pay anything like that. Just a copay. Thanks. So then where can I go to look up what my levels should be or will my dr just tell me?
Pcp will the you that your normal if you are in range. Even if your at 300 they will say your ok but most pcp don't understand low t. I forget the website but it dies tell you by age where you should be.
Ok thanks a lot . I'm sure I can find it . So then I should get bloodwork done halfway through the cycle then when I'm finished correct?
Correct but when you get bloods when your done i would wait 12 weeks after pct cause your lipids etc will be all over the place.
So my dr ordererded everything except for the estrogen test. He said he doesn't do that. Do I have to have that. Shoudk I call a different dr to try to get it?
That's gay! If he can order testosterone he can do estrogen. If that's the case, do your own at private med labs.
That shit looks a lot more then $60. I'm gonna call him back and see why he won't do it. I don't get what the hell the problem is
Nevermind I found it. And this is only $60 to get done there?
The female hormone was should be cheaper
Yea I know I don't get what the problem is. How do I get the private Med labs ones?
Hey I'm going to get that bloodwork tomoorow but where do I go to see that the normal levels should be to compare?
