Should I run another cycle?
So 3 years ago at the tender age of 20 years old, against all advice from numerous vets on numerous forums I decided to run a cycle. I chose to run 12 week test e with 30mg dbol ed for the first 4 weeks. Started PCT 2 weeks after the last injection and I was running nolva 40/40/20/20 with no clomid. Long story short, about a week in to PCT I spill all of the nolva into a running sink and loose every last pill. After this I started to break out like crazy all over my back shoulders and chest. I went to the doc and basically gave him the rundown and he put me on some antibiotics which did nothing at all. After a month he put me on accutane and after a month of accutane I end up with the worse kind of acne you can have "acne fulminans". The doc said that acne fulminans is a very rare but severe side affect of accutane. Needless to say 3 years later I have pretty bad keloid scars on my chest from the whole ordeal. It was the worst experience and pain I have ever been though in my life. I could not work out for close to 8 months and went from being 190lbs @ 8%bf to 154lbs and 13%bf. Over the past 2 years or so I have been hitting the weights hard all natty and keeping a very strict diet. I have gotten back to about 183lbs at about 9-10%bf. Call me a dumb shit but after all that I went through I still want to get back on the horse and try it again. I have already told myself that no matter how bad I want to do it I am going to wait 2 more years until I turn 25. My question to all of you is "would you run another cycle or stay natty?"
Here is a photo of the damage. It was taken on 8/23/12. http://imgur.com/1AC6O

sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders for a young buck. ultimatley, the choice will be yours brother, but this would be an awesome opportunity for you to push your natural limits to the max, understand diet, and tighten up your traininer before going back on AAS. you have a 2 year window to play with, so you can make sure your next run is SPOT on. pm me if you wanna stay in touch
Thanks bro. If you are still on eroids in 2 yrs you will hear from me. My goal is to get to 190lbs in two years all natty (currently at 180lbs) while keeping staying at or under 10% bf. Shouldn't be to hard if I stick to my diet and keep lifting hard. Its going to be pretty exciting to be over 210 after the cycle considering I have a ectomorph body type.
zewiwe will be here..
That's what I like to hear.
cdaddy7You have the right mindset and it will reward you. I think waiting until 25 is a wise choice. Unfortunately, u are a classic example of what happens when vets give advice and guys dont heed the warnings and jump in. Some suffer hardly any consequences and others bargain for more than they thought. Using gear is a very serious choice and using it properly is even more so. U are lucky it was just acne and the scars will fade with time or even with laser treatments. There are other nasty sides and damage to organs that could have taken place. That is the importance of researching and having all ur gear and ancillary meds ready to go for on cycle issues and proper complete PCT. I think once again you have to weigh out the pros and cons and make the best decision for u and body's future. Patience is a virtue. Knowledge is power and knowing how to apply it is true wisdom. Keep training and researching until 25 and make your decision my man. I wish you well in your quest
Great advice cdaddy. As much as I wish I could go back in time I know I just have to keep moving forward and make the right choices. I just hope others will be able to learn from my mistake.
cdaddy7Ur not alone, I have had my many share of mistakes. I just try to help u guys so y'all don't have to follow in my footsteps but heed my warnings and go in the right direction
I hope others will read and take note of your experiences mate. Good attitude you got yourself there.
Forgot to mention I will post some pics of the scars when I get home. They are pretty bad.
Well you know what you did wrong, you know NEVER to take accutane again... evidently.
If its something you really want, go for it with the lessons learned in mind.
Yea that is a given no doubt bro. I even told my doc that I did not want to take the stuff because the possible side affects outweigh the benefit and his exact words were " I prescribe this stuff everyday and I rarely have problems." Guess I should have gone with my instinct hu?
I guess that's why they call it "practicing" medicine.
That being said that is kind of a crazy reaction.
Yea man that shit is no joke people are quick to get on acutane and it is a very dangerous drug it has a bunch of sides. It was the shittest few months of my life because acutane can make you depressed and on top of that I was felling so shitty because I had no PCT and my hormones were so fucked up. I was really depressed for a few months. Not to mention the worst physical pain of my life. I'm talking about cystic acne the size of quarters 1/2 a inch deep that would just keep breaking open. I couldn't even shower because of the pain. I had to sponge bath for 3 months. I don't wish that pain on my worst enemy.
Damn the acutane did that? Thats crazy. But yeah I sometimes freak out about what if I break a bottle of this or that. But I've got double on all pct and ai just in case
Yea I thought the stuff was gunna kill me. But yea if I ever decide to do another cycle I will make sure I have more than enough. Lesson learned.
No possible doubt: NATTY!
You went from 154 and 13%bf to 183 and 10%? There are guys on cycles that don't get those kind of results. You are doing fine on your own, keep it that way. I would never have went to AAS but I hit a wall and couldn't make anymore solid gains. My body genetically is built for speed more than mass and power. AAS got me over the hump but only after a very long stretch of not being able to gain any weight. Keep doing what you are doing and in two years if you still are making good strides then don't why use a chemical when you can do it naturally? I wouldn't
No the 154 was after not working out for 8 months after all of that. Before I started the cycle I was about 165lbs 10%bf so I gained about 25lbs during the cycle before PCT. Thanks for the reply I will keep all of that in mind!
If you are looking for huge gains or not willing to be patient then in 2 years hit the juice. My advice is still the same if you are still making great strides forward why touch the stuff. Just be patient.
Thanks for the advice Logan, I will keep that in mind.
zewiId stay natty as long as possible. However, its your choice if you feel like your loosing your edge, depressed, or you not feeling right. It might be time to jump on the horse. Also keep that diet in check will help also.
Thanks for the response. It's not that I feel depressed and I love the challenge of building natty It just really feels like a lot of time wasted once you start to hit that plateau and you just watch everyone else on gear go zooming by you it can get frustrating.
