During your 4 weeks on drol.are you using the same ai? Any nolva?
Starting adex at .5eod at week 2 because of the drol. Have nolv on hand just in case.
You’re a great example to some of our younger guys how you can still achieve phenomenal gains and physiques without overdoing the drugs. A little test and provi with an oral kicker. And I have no doubt you’re gonna hit that 280 mark. Good luck, and I’ll be following!
Edit: ps I’d love to see your basic food plan as well
The kitchen table and sleep is more important than the gear (when your on cycle) when bulking.
What’s your daily meal plan look like?
I’m running something similar with NPP & BoldCyp.
I just hit 275lb. Meals look like this
Up around 5am, 1 cup cottage cheese blueberries & kind granola. Then straight to the gym.
7am 8oz egg whites & 1cup steel cut oats (sugar free syrup)
9am 1cup cottage cheese & 4oz smoked salmon
12noon 1chicken breast, fist size sweet potato, bell pepper & an avocado
3pm 1-2cup cashew & maybe a shake
6pm, dinner. 1chicken breast, fist size sweet potato, bell pepper & an avocado
9pm a Casin shake
I do the chicken in a new wave oven. Cooks fast & keeps the meat moist
1: 8 eggs 10 whites 2 potatoes 1 onion bowl of cereal
2: 2 quest bars, 2 bananas with PB
3: 6 oz chicken 6oz beef 2 Raman noodles and a bottle of G2
4: Dinner with the FAM
Lift & 50g whey in oj
5: Same as meal except with baked potato w butter instead of the Raman
6: Large container of Greek yogurt, fruit.
And if I'm hungry in between meals $3-4 worth of the nearest fast food restaurant. Lol
You must be a ectomorph, cause I’d be 20%bf by the end of cycle on that diet
For me it’s more of a phycological thing. If I have a cookie with breakfast, then I’m eating a ice cream cake for dinner
Somatotypes don’t exist. Ectomorph, mesomorph, etc. are psuedoscientific terms. Body types have been thoroughly debunked decades ago. They mean nothing. Point blank facts, not opinion. Just trying to spread the word and get these outdated terms out of bodybuilding and fitness. They’re embarrassing.
Do you have some new millennial jargon to replace these descriptive terms? Does the semantics not please the scientific community?
Are you quoting Bill Nie the science guy? Cause it sounds like your just trying to be politically correct. But if your not & the descriptive terms of how fast & or easily a person Gaines or loses muscle or fat is proven by top men in their field to be debunked. Then IDGAF.
You can use the terms as much as you please. I’m just saying they’re meaningless. I’m not saying you have to care. Just to give you an idea of how outdated they are, saying someone has to eat a lot to gain muscle because he’s an ectomorph is like saying someone is depressed because he has too much yellow bile. It has zero truth behind it. It’s as outdated as phrenology.
I see you don’t care, and that’s fine. One could argue that getting rid of these silly terms would stop giving people excuses. “I can’t gain weight because I’m an ectomorph!” “I can’t lose weight because I’m an endomorph!” It’s done nothing but harm to the fitness community, and only furthers the delusions of the unique snowflake generation. And it’s bullshit to boot. I don’t know how the hell these terms are still around. There’s broscience and then there’s bro-mythology.
So what your saying is someone with hyperthyroidism shouldn’t be described as a ectomorph? He’s really just lazy & needs to learn to eat?
It’s real cool your trying to be super scientific PC guy & all but, broscience, bromythology, or whatever. I’m just trying to get a point across on Eroids. Not Scientific Weekly
Yes.
No. Talk about misinterpretation.
I’m against being PC, not for it.
So am I. With facts. Not opinions.
So what’s the problem? There’s no need for controversy or getting defensive here. Not remotely. What you’re doing is the equivalent of arguing that 2+2 doesn’t equal 4. If you’re not willing to be open minded and accept the facts, I don’t know what to tell you. I would think the appropriate response would be thanking me for taking the time out of my day to teach you something. I’m not obligated or compensated to post anything here. If I learned something new from someone, I would be thanking him or her up and down, even if it was contrary to what I thought I knew before. We can never learn enough. Nothing but respect for you, though. Peace.
I can see your getting upset. Sorry about that.
But it’s just easier to say ecto, meso or endo.
Please don’t take anymore time out of your day
Thanks for being respectful.
I think the point here is they can be descriptive terms of General body types still. How would you now describe a body type with new jargon? If there are new terms or knowledge, I’d like to be informed.
They were never scientifically accepted terms. There are no such things as body types. The somatotype hypothesis never made it to theory or law stage because it was dismissed as complete quackery almost as soon as it came out due to a total lack of studies to back it. It quickly became a laughingstock of both physiology and psychology among competent scientists because of how ludicrous it is.
Descriptive terms? Small framed, medium framed, big framed. Small appetite, normal appetite, big appetite. Fast metabolism, slow metabolism. Lazy or hard working. Indifferent or determined. Mix and match until it fits.
Hey, I’ll humor people who still use the ecto/endo excuse as to why they’re not lean and muscular. I’ll say: “I think you’ll find the harder you work and the better you eat, the more ‘mesomorphic’ you’ll become.”
You get out of it what you put into it, period. This millennial snowflake attitude that comes with the body type nonsense is doing more harm to fitness than fake natties on YouTube, and that’s coming from a millennial who calls it like he sees it. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Just get to work!
I am not talking about effort or anything else than using descriptive terms, scientific or not. People understand head terms for the most part and it’s a good starting point for many. That’s all I’m saying. That’s all I’ve ever used those terms for anyway. If you can find better descriptive terms that’s great, but that’s all the weight I give them.
Aye. I just don’t believe in misinformation; whether it’s benign or harmful doesn’t have any bearing. The line is too thin to allow one and condemn the other. But I don’t want to add any more distraction to this thread out of respect for chunky. I couldn’t have even imaged that what I said would be taken as controversial. Maybe one day I’ll create a thread about it and debunk the somatotype myth more thoroughly.
Last word on the matter. Thanks for the input.
All this myth about the somatypes would be good topic. I guess I haven't heard anything about not using somatypes anymore or why we shouldn't. I consider myself a mesomorph but tending more toward meso-endo as I get older.
I really just shouldn’t have said anything. The reason they were debunked is because they were used to categorize people not just by body structure, but by personality. It was almost like nephrology and pseudo-physiology mixed together. Used in the modern sense, even if the terms are technically outdated and inaccurate, we all know what they’re intended to mean and they can be helpful. I was just being petty. In retrospect, I’m cringing at my comments tbh.
Apologies to chunky for the derail
Def not ecto. I'd say meso with some endo traits. I do get fat easily. But for bulking I just pick a number and eat till I get there. Then I try to make it look pretty by the end of my bulk cycle by adjusting macros and lightening up weights a bit, decreasing rest periods and bumping the volume on all exercises except bench, Squat and deadlift. Those stay heavy with long rest periods.
More power 2 ya,+2
Double post
Very nice meal plan , I've been tinkering with my diet due to having chronic ibs , been a difficult last 15 months to say the least but im going to give your diet a go especially given the gains you've made, I'm on a similar cycle to you , thanks for posting this up
Yeah man, but the cottage cheese will probably aggravate your IBS.
A meal that I eat a lot of that will not mess with your guts is stuffed peppers. I slice a bell pepper in half & layer in some spicy brown mustard, then stuff it full of tuna/avocado. I normally stuff 2 peppers full.
Thank you mate I'll try that
