Day 1 of my vacation complete, had a great leg day at a new gym. This is the first gym I've been to with a pendulum squat. How many of y'all have one in your gym?
I have a viking press pendulum squat landmine attachment it is sketchy and bad I want to try a real one I heard so many good things but I'm all home gym
The one I tried was the paramount pendulum squat which is an older piece matching the rest of the equipment in the background, and is probably one of the best pendulum squats. All of the other paramount equipment I tried that day was old school but super nice. It just didn't fit my leg path or squating style as much as I really wanted to like it

I have a hack squat/leg press combo at home that was worth every penny it cost me. I’ve never had the opportunity to try pendulum squats though.
Do you get winters there? I need to expand my gym and I'm thinking a bunch of leg machines on a slab under a car port. But where I'm at we get winter kinda sometimes so I'm hesitant.
I’m in Florida so no, not much winter here. We get a lot of rain in the summer so I keep everything coated in wd40 and silicone

During COVID I thought about setting up an outside gym. But in MD the humidity is like living inside a Hippos anus. When I was younger I would train in the basement of my Middle School. It was a dungeon and had no air. place was dirty. I loved that place. But in summers it was hot and humid to the point water was running off teh weights.
MD bros. I hate our summers. Even the springs and falls are still brutally hot and humid from May to the end of October the last few years

We have one. But it effs my sciatic nerve up every single time. So its a no go for me.
Many years ago during a sciatica issue I used a reverse hyper machine for sciatica and it helped me fyi
I’ll have to try this, I pinched mine a couple weeks ago and all I’ve been able to do for legs are calf raises and leg extensions.
