+ 1 Has anyone tried Rythm?

It's an at home blood test that you mail back. I'd normally be against it because I prefer going to a regular lab locati9n like Q or L, BUT I live in the middle of nowhere. The closest Q or L location is about 3hrs round trip for me. Plus, however long I am there. Just hoping to find a way to make it easier, but I also don't want to waste my time and money if they aren't as reliable. Looking through their website, they seem to test the majority of all the basic markers I want tested. Then I could just drive to the lab for a complete over the top lab once or twice per year.

I’ve used it. It’s good for general trends on things like cholesterol but I think the general rule of thumb for it is it’s better for when you’re on TRT/a cruise. it’s capped at 1500 for the total testosterone reading and doesn’t have everything you’ll need for when you’re on cycle.
Unless you’re actively trying to dial things in, I’d say it’s probably fine for general trending if you really don’t want a 3 or 4 hour drive. My main concern is the accuracy of capillary blood collection and dried blood spot testing compared to a standard venous blood draw. Venous blood remains the reference standard for many laboratory tests, and the reliability of capillary samples depends on the biomarker being measured. There have also been many reports of meaningful discrepancies between Rythm hormone results and traditional venous labs.
Once you’re 100% confident you’re dialed in, sure, it might be okay for trending certain markers, but not all. If it were me, once every 8-16 weeks I’d just make a day of it. Go get proper labs, then hit the city for a cheat meal, catch a show, or just enjoy the trip. For me, it’s worth the extra confidence in the results.
This is pretty much spot on for what I have been doing the last few years. I just keep seeing ads for their at home test and sometimes making things that simple sounds nice.
It is not as accurate as a standard blood draw, but it can help you know if something is off by following the trend of the values but thats it.
No, I'm white.
Was this a white people have no rhythm joke, because the company I'm referring to is rythm? This rythm is specifically for the whites with no rhythm.
Then you're in good hands. Instead of an in-house centrifuge they out source and use Home Depot's vibrational/orbital paint shaker.
I heard once before that a paint shaker is a top tier replacement for the Hettich ROTANTA 460. Thanks for the knowledge and confirming that.
Yea I remember from when you were karate chopping dudes at the double deuce
I currently use it, but it does not give the complete picture. Also the total T test is capped at 1500. It is nice to monitor some lipids, Apob, crp, hemocrit, and some others though. I was looking into https://siphoxhealth.com/ beause they give a few additional tests and you can upgrade to include up to 59 biomarkers, where with rythm you can't. It is more expensive though.
Thanks brother. I'll look into Siphox as well.
Good enough but doesn’t test for ultra sensitive E2. I know because my e2 isn’t 144 on 300 test and 150 primo and 280tren (tested at 24 a few weeks later). All other markers are good though. I’d probably still use it as an indicator without tren or NPP though for e2
Im not sure I understand on the ultra sensitive E2, is the thinking that one of the other compounds pushed the E2 reading falsely high? Curious as Ive been using Rythm myself and the E2 reading has been strangely consistent since April, always falling between 68-72.
Yes. 19-nors can show up as estrogen on the non sensitive test.
Thanks brother
I use Rythm monthly, I also live in the middle of nowhere. I drive to a lab maybe once every 6 months.
Thus far Rythm results have been mostly aligned with “real” labs. I think their hematocrit measure might run slightly low. Their testosterone measure is capped at 1500, which is disappointing.
All in all, it’s an ok option if labs are no conveniently close
Thank you. That's exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for. Although, it does suck that total t is capped at 1500. We can get a decent ballpark of our actual total t from our free t and shgb.
