+ 13 Promo Whore Blacklist

ad

So I figured I needed to make this thread because I’ve had to explain numerous times to numerous users how reviews & promos can actually harm users.

Before reading any further, review this: https://www.eroids.com/forums/general/off-topic/promo-whore-blacklist?pa...

Things to take away:
1) A user is added to list if they have given 9 or more REVIEWS in a rolling year. THATS PROMOS OR NOT!!

2) Since it is required to give a review if they are added to a promo, that’s counts as 1/8 reviews.

3) As stated above, any additional reviews ALSO count towards the 8.. PROMO OR NOT

Reasons for this (I think.. need @Greg to confirm)

1) Stops users from joining multiple promos and never actually buying gear

2) Stops users from prepping up sources. For example) one user could write a new review everyday for a source boosting said sources overall score

Consequences

1) I don’t actually know, I heard karma is taken back to zero. .. gonna need confirmation on that as wel

Things to consider;

1) Strategically pick promos- don’t jump on every one available, that free gear is nice but you won’t be getting any fee gear the following year.

2) Write reviews for sources who actually deserve one, good or bad.

Example 1) you bought 2 test props from X source, I would probably not write a review from that guy.

Example 2) you dropped $500 on gear, and the gear was dope af, and said source threw in some extra goodies, probably worth a review.

Example 3) (this is what I do) i usually hop on a sources promo AND buy additional gear, that way I can test said gear and get free shit at the same time. This knocks out 2 birds with one stone. Everyone is happy.. the source gets my business (money) and a review, I get my needed gear and freebies, and my review helps the community pick what source to buy from.. a win for everyone.

Example 4) This is for all the retards who leave reviews becuaee “the gear didn’t “Hit Hard enough”, whatever the fuck that means. Or said oral “tastes like candy, so it had to be fake” with zero Jano testing or lab results. For you retards, instead of leaving a shitting review… PM/EMAIL/MESSAGE the source FIRST. We are all tired of seeing these retarded reviews.

That’s just my 2 cents on the matter. Once again, the reason for the thread is because theee are some memebers on here with 100+ karma who have zero idea about this list and how it can affect them.

Grammar,, spelling, and sentence structure was probably garage.. it’s late and I’m doing this on my phone.

Tbh after Greg chimed in here it makes a lot more sense to not allow for paid va promo reviews we don’t need a bunch of over inflated reviews because someone makes a bunch of small orders. I like the suggestion of getting on a promo and buy the rest of your cycle during that promo. If anything these sources should really try to make that the aim of the promos “ Get $500 credit and x% off after the $500” ect

Thank you, I was thinking all reviews were valuable but makes sense that you don’t wanna come across like a booster bot. And best you review real big orders & cycles

I am new here and tbh I thought that doing example 3 was a requirement.

When I first joined I was eager to earn karma and buy shit. I did reviews for small orders, hindsight, if I had to do it over, I would have saved my reviews for more meaningful orders and promos. But being new and not fully understanding of everything, I jumped in headfirst with src’s and buying. A little time in here, educating myself more, I definitely changed how I will do reviews going forward. I too will be leaning towards example #3 as @TeaBody listed.

So I'm confused, if we are buying gear we can't write reviews about it every time we buy it? Even if that is more than 9 times a year? That's confusing if I'm buying it and using it I should be able to review it. A lot of the stuff I get is the same things bp meds, accutane, test, mast, deca, and eq. And I buy them from different places and switch up brands during the same cycles to see which ones I feel best on or work best for me. And I do the same with different bp, accutanes, and cholesterol meds to see which pharmacies have the most quality stuff and what works best for my BP as I have hypertension and use cholesterol lowering meds like atorvasratin and I've bought dragon pharma and then gotten pfizer branded stuff from x pharmacy from x source to see if they are.legit and comparable etc, half of what I buy isn't even gear, it's Reta or hgh which I'm on always, and BP meds, accutane, cholesterol lowering meds, antibiotics etc. and I'm on TRT always as well which I get test here because my insurance doesn't cover hardly anything, so if I am purchasing more than that a year I just can't review them?

Let's call you a shill, hypothetically of course... what's the best way for you to pimp your source... be creative now. Each 5/5 review moves your guy up the ranks.

You also have unlimited comments in the sources discussion page and no limit on TD pics where you Can wax poetically about how sexy and good your sources gear is.

What you can't do is buy the same product over and over in small batches giving your source an unfair advantage because you're on TRT with high BP, a broke dick, and no insurance.

FYI, this is a steroid review site.

That's fair and makes sense and I understand that. There were certain products that I tried to write reviews on but the item isn't there, and I messaged BFG about it to ask if he could add them and never got a reply, I believe i messaged you about that Greg and you told me to message @BFG cause he was the only person who could add them and there is a lot of specific compounds from specific companies that are not on the list to review or I would love to do it that way. I wish we could go to product reviews and add a compound from a source that isn't there on the list to review it. And even with purchased orders, sources still message you and ask you to write reviews for them, so I wasn't sure how it worked exactly but thank you for explaining Greg and Milfy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a user can write as many "product reviews" as they want, right? Where the product can be reviewed and not affect source rankings?

So there is a way to write unlimited reviews about a particular brand of "gear" or ancillary compounds and avoid being labeled a "source shill". It's just not laid out very plainly.

Greg's picture

Yes, yes they can.

You can write as many reviews as you want, I’m just letting you know what happens after you write 8 in a given year. I didn’t make the rule, I’m just educating people on it so they know.

Look at Greg’s response below for a more detailed reason this rule was enacted.

Awesome write up and absolutely agree.

I never read the rules myself like most don’t. (Be honest)

I wrote a reviews( I thought it was two) for a site that’s a bit bipolar with accuracy and deleted them when he decided to stop responding to folks.
obviously these still count.

I’ve paid orders from 3 sites and these are the 3 I’ll stand by newly 4th added (see promo tag for reference)

You see cunts on Reddit getting scammed but fuck me this forum negates all of that.

Read the rules
Stick to them
Be a good cunt
You’ll have a blast ( or 8 minimum) here Blum 3

Example 3 is the way to go

Im guilty of reviews for small orders, but new here and trying to get that karma, so I can properly participate in Example 3 when teh good promos do show up

EDIT: 8 reviews a year is actually a little generous. How many cycles should we really be running each year? Greg makes good points

Eroids doesn't require you to make a review. Sources don't require you to make reviews for paid orders. Reviews are typically required by the source as a condition to participate in a promo.

Around 13 or 14 yesrs ago Eroids review count was based on safe or best practices. I.e., 2 to 3 cycles per year plus PCT and time off. Then it was doubled and extra was added for ancillaries. That should be plenty for those items you can't get from just one source.

Then promos came along and everyone wanted to start cruising. People were reviewing every one or two vial orders, made each month, same batch, same source; you get the idea.

Promos are a sources way to try their gear join their promo but do them a solid and buy your entire cycle from them. Then review the cycle.

Some of you guys act like you go to Costco just to eat the free samples because you're too cheap to buy dinner. You're addicted to promos and try to make Frankenstein cycles with promo gear from 3 or more sources (that's when the pink "in a promo" box showed up). Stop that. It's sophmoric and not a good look.

If your purchased order is the same product, same batch, same source within 6 months why review it again?

Yes, you lose all of your karma going over.

1) “ 2 to 3 cycles per year plus PCT and time off. Then it was doubled and extra was added for ancillaries.”

2)” You're addicted to promos and try to make Frankenstein cycles with promo gear from 3 or more sources (that's when the pink "in a promo" box showed up). Stop that. It's sophmoric and not a good look”

Both of those make total sense. And when thinking about it, there really isn’t a better system that can be set up that meets all those parameters.

“ Promos are a sources way to try their gear join their promo but do them a solid and buy your entire cycle from them. Then review the cycle.”

That’s that way I’ve been looking at it. Don’t get me wrong, there was some speciality items I wanted to try out for shits and giggles ie) Pharmaqo Super Lean and XXX, but overall, the concept of buying the whole cycle and getting the promo together is logical.
