+ 4 I feel tired a lot

Do you guys have any good tips on not being tired all the time? I've been taking vitamin D since I'm deficient. I'm on 200mg test a week. And 2mg reta a week. I've lost 16 pounds in almost 3 months. Was at 195, now I'm 179. I'm not working out which I know I should be. I just walk every day for an hour. My blood work is fine, only thing was the vitamin D deficiency.

Where is your ferritin, iron, dhea, Pregnenolone, and thyroid ? They look solid ? I know I was exhausted for a bit bc my entire iron panel and ferritin was tanked.
Sub 200lbs on reta and dont work out?
Same doses as myself but also 100mg primo and I’ve been hit with being pretty tired recently. ( getting warmer weather 20+c which is high for Scotland)
I have two young kids that probably doesn’t help
6 and 3.
I’d love to have the energy they do daily haha
That’s because they suck the life force out of you to fuel that chaos lol. My 6 year old only has 2 speeds. Asleep or at it 100%.
That is so spot on! It’s like a built in off / on switch.
Both my boys have started flexing in the mirror probably copying their da haha.
I hope to one day be in the gym with both of them. I just hope it’s something that interests them as they get older
My daughter hits me with front double bicep pose all the time lol. It’ll interest them if they see you do it. I have my own gym and so she grew up seeing me lift. Now she “plays” with the ab roller and can do ~7-8 dead hang pull ups. Never told her to come work out with me she just wants be around dad and that’s where dad is.
When i try to skip a day or late going down, my 8 year old is like "dad, lets go workout" because she is so used to the routine daily since she could walk down the basement stairs. So she is my motivation. Wont let me go to an emergency call in at work without taking her and wants to go with me to usher at church every Sunday. What topped the cake was last week "Dad, can i help you mow the lawn and you pay me?" LOVE THAT LITTLE GIRL!
And that’s precisely why dads/role models are so important. Lead by example
This country needs present, masculine, assertive fathers.
The “daily bitches” thread would certainly be much more barren if there were more…
100% ^^^
It's really easy to lose sight of the fact that those are all VERY young women putting their naked bodies on display for the world to judge. Probably just the 40 year old me talking. But it's hard to see a naked 20-something and not think it's just a misguided kid.
That's why you don't see me lurking in there. Lol
Yea me neither. Actually lost interest in that kind of stuff after having a daughter. Kinda put it all in perspective.
Very understandable.
That sounds pretty bliss tbh mate!
I Might get enough space one day to kit the house out with a wee gym set up. TIL then it’s council gym all the way
Dial in the basics bro. Workout, eat real food, sleep without aids like melatonin for 7-10hours. Take a nap whenever you can. Sounds like you have a sleep debt.
There was a post about a week ago. https://www.eroids.com/forums/general/general-talk/sleep-schedules
Most of us have fucked up sleeping habits and are lethargic. Welcome to your late thirties bro.
Thanks bro. Yeah I'm 37 now it sucks.
These are STILL your best years pal - I hit my best lifts at 37 to 38 years old. Wait till you are 46 like me then you will long for your 30's back again. Once you are 40 and over you feel like a Vietnamese running through a mine field trying not to get fuckin injured!!!! LMAO
Haha a Vietnamese running through a mine field. -- Man I need to get into the gym. I'm sure I'll feel better once I do.
That’s young bro, I’m 54
You're probably in better shape than I am lol
I’m 39 and I started to notice the lethargy annd sleep issues at about 34. When did it start for you?
I felt a change last year overall, but recently I felt it from being on Reta. Sleep problems and low energy probably from being it was my first time.
And congrats on your weight loss!
Thank you!
Reta use to make me lethargic at times. Following a carb cycling diet change that for me.
Trazadone helps me sleep.
That's because you are on way too much Toxic gear pal!!!!
What’s wrong with trazodone ? It’s a very common sleep aide prescribed to millions upon millions of people everyday. Now I want you to check out DAPA that shit literally makes you piss out all of your glycogen thereby reducing caloric overburden and fat accumulation this shit DAPA is amazing for fat loss
Why in the fuck would you ever want to intentionally deplete your glycogen?
not just because it will make you look tiny, but that's how you get hurt. Dried out joints trying to max out on lifts is a bad deal. Bad move.
If you wanna lose weight, fasted cardio/cardio in general and calorie deficit is how that works. Don't overcomplicate it.
Your right I meant glucose, but this class of medication is amazing here are the benefits
Dapagliflozin is an oral prescription medication used to treat type 2 diabetes, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease.
It belongs to the SGLT2 inhibitor class, working by signaling the kidneys to remove excess sugar and sodium through the urine.
Primary UsesType 2 Diabetes: Lowers blood sugar levels in adults and children aged 10 and older alongside diet and exercise.
Heart Failure: Reduces the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalizations in adults with heart failure.
Chronic Kidney Disease: Lowers the risk of disease worsening, end-stage kidney failure, and related deaths.
Oh you’re talking about jardiance (Empagliflozin). I’d say it’s more of an ancillary tool to mitigate the risks of running high HGH. Not necessarily as a tool to lose weight via the extra excretion of sugar through your urine. Watch out for UTIs on that though and going hypo if in a calorie restricted diet with low carbs
Oh ok thanks for the clarification.
Gross. Hey let's use drugs to build muscle...cmon man....
@Jockstrap I've had my best gains ever on a cruise with my diet LOCKED in. 200/cyp a week is all I was on and I was sleeping 8-9 hours a night.
My biggest problem by far is my sleep. Never get enough.
But I'm with you 100% guys are doing way too much gear. If the diet and recovery are locked in, it doesn't take much anabolics to grow.
@Milfpounder .....yes for sure! Trt bumped a hair and a simple oral or 2ndary oil boost and it can be rocket fuel.
I've never slept much but when I was younger hops valerian root helped and I didn't feel groggy. Members in recent years poked at me to test my igf1 levels. I was against hgh until really needed because added cardio or carb manipulation works. Testing showed my igf1 was at the bottom level. Lil 2iu and slept great and with trt my recovery was like being young again.
Crystal meth (jokes)
It may be the reta. I just started tirz after switching from glp1 and I feel fatigued the first week. But everyones different, maybe just give it a little bit more time.
I would recommend getting blood work done to check Pregnenolone, Ferritin, DHEA-S, e2 ultrasensitive, and TSH, Free T3, Free T4.
When running Testosterone, and you run into lethargy I would get these markers checked first. These have a lot to do with how you feel on a day to day basis. If not in the correct levels then your gonna feel weak and tired all the time regardless of exogenous T.
dude I feel like I'm walking in mud all the time. super lethargic and exhausted in every aspect besides working out lol. its brutal....
Same. Almost always feel like I got hit with a tranq dart. Was going to try ss31 and motsc.
I'm sure sleep apnea is probably my cause. You getting good sleep?
I feel this cause I felt the same before I started reta and I have sleep apnea. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get I always feel exhausted and no amount of caffeine helps. I've heard sleep apnea can have all kinds of gnarly effects, especially on testosterone and energy levels.
Yeah for sure. My wife laughs at me Because I'll drink a monster and then take a nap.
Same. My doctor bitches cause 3 espresso drinks a day and a redbull and he's like you're basically counteracting your BP medicine lol. But yeah I can pass out after any amount of caffeine. So exhausted all the time... I would love to get some answers as well.
My sleep is shit, 4 - 5 hours a night
That's probably the reason mate.
How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
Always have to get a minimum of 8, ideally though I shoot for 9 to 10 per night. When I am not training though like now because of injury I can get by on much, much less.
I stay away from all these weight loss peptides as I'm already 7% bf and have no need for them - but from what I read about the side effects and how they can make you feel (esp Reta) you need to be making sure you are training and going to the gym regularly so that you keep feeling good and positive, both physically and mentally. I would imagine its kinda like running gear where by if you smash gear in but don't train like I have actually seen some idiots do over the years on here - then all that will happen after 3 to 4 days is you will start to feel like shit and have no energy - I can see it being the same scenario. Plus all those peps massively lower blood sugar by altering Insulin release etc. Of course you could be deficient elsewhere in the Vitamin spectrum but I would concentrate on getting yourself in the gym at least 2 to 3 times per week and I'm sure your drive will return again.
Reta also raises your RHR and will jack up your HRV. So OP might sleep 8 hours a night taking melatonin or other sleep supplements but is getting shit quality sleep. That’ll compound on itself and end up in massive sleep debt.
