+ 3 FDA & Peptides
ad
Just wanted to mention for those that don't know, last week the FDA held hearing concerning peptides. After Thursday & Fridays meetings concluded the panel voted 8-6 to allow 6 total peptides to be added the FDAs list of chemicals safe to compound. Bpc157, TB500, Semax, MotsC, Epitalon, & KPV.
The vote was a nonbinding resolution however the FDA standard procedure is to follow these recommendations.
It should be noted that all of the FDAs research scientists unanimously voted against adding any peptides to the list citing a lack of clinical data especially human data.
I find the last bit really funny because if they needed real world data, this group here has loads of it .

The FDA is a huge joke. I dont care what they say some peptides are life changing and Reta is one of them.
Yea, I’m an example of glp-1s changing my life.
“It should be noted that all of the FDAs research scientists unanimously voted against adding any peptides to the list citing a lack of clinical data especially human data.”
And at the same time they add the Covid vaccination to the baby vaccine schedule after data has shown that it’s doesn’t stop transmission and side effects are high.
The FDA (and similar governing bodies) are corrupt and hypocritical
Beyond corrupt!
You aint lyin.
So what does this actually mean then when they say 'safe to compound'?
"It is an approved list of ingredients that specialty compounding pharmacies can use to make custom medication". - via ABC
Currently these products are only sold as research chemicals.
So are we saying in essence that we are one step closer to them being manufactured by Pharmaceutical companies that can then be obtained via prescription or OTC?
More or less, yes - but with an important distinction. If the FDA adopts the committee’s recommendation, these peptides could become eligible for compounding by licensed 503A pharmacies when prescribed by a healthcare provider. That would make them legally available through compounding pharmacies, but it would not make them FDA-approved drugs or available over the counter. FDA approval requires a separate drug approval process with clinical trials demonstrating safety and efficacy.
I can see the Clinical Trials coming then if thats whats required for the Government to make their Millions out of them LOL Imagine if there is a Serious possibility of developing Cancer Long term or similar from using them - All of us will be shitting ourselves LMAO
Haha, cheers mate… considering I’ve pinned more BPC and TB than I’d care to admit, and some lengthy runs of a few others not on this list, I’d definitely like to see some proper long-term human data. If they’re as safe as many of us hope, great. If there are risks, I’d rather know now than 20 years from now getting tumors cut out of my ass
We are all gonna die some day Broski - just hopefully not before I make my return and get this 300kg Deadlift with my newfound Leg strength LMFAOOO
That would be my conclusion. If they adopt the voted for recommendations these compounds will then able to be compounded in legitimate American pharmacies for legitimate medical purposes.
The fact the topic is even being debated by the regulators is a huge step forward. Let's hope they follow through.
The way I look at this is there is genuine belief that BPC and TB amongst others work and do what they claim to do, clearly the government are doing this because they see the potential money to be made from making them legitimate compounds to sell via Doctors etc. All a Win Win situation as I see it. Will be interesting to see what Official Pharma prices will be on them compared to Underground Sources Lol.
It’s the opposite actually they are allowing it because no money can be made. Since peptides are proteins the body makes, companies can not technically patent it. That’s why there has been little clinical research on peps. But at this point. So
Many people are using peps that there is a nation wide experiment being conducted among people like us using the products from UGLs
GLP-1 s are in the opposite carpet. Companies like Lily have been sending out “cease and desist” letters to gray pharmacies who sell Reta. Same with Sema (ozempic). However these companies currently only have a patent on the delivery method not the actual compound. If the FDA ever awards the actual compound patent to the major pharma company, the GLP-1s will be nor expensive and can only get it from offical suppliers (legit market not UGL).
For Reta, the cat is already out of the bag, so to speak, for UGLs. They already know how to make it so we are good for UGLs.
Interesting, never knew that. Surely there must be some way they can get something out of it though in the same way Hundreds of Millions are spent on Protein shakes globally each year?
Yes, someone will obviously make money however, it will be allowed to be made in the free market compared to the big pharma monopoly. So grey markets will have to compete with one another on lowest price for the customer.
In the other scenario, if big pharma gets the patent then they will have a monopoly and can charge whatever they want .
Imagine there was only one source on Eroids who sold Test E. That source could sell it for whatever they want. But they can’t becuaee we would just go to a different source.
Exactly right.
As we know , UgLs currently as it stands are
"Safe & effective"
Only those in the know know.
You are also correct.
There has been virtually no American clinical trials done, since in the end amino acids can't be patented anyway so why even bother.
If you look at the verbage in the press release , you will see it mentions specifically the creation of new medicines. Which means the goal is to create something exclusive with added whatnot, a special blend, to then patent, advertise, & sell.
It seems we may be ahead of curve on this one.
This the new “medicine” won’t be structurally different, it will just be in a pen with a new patented button that other pens don’t have hahahaah
Or in oral form, oil form, or some other base liquid
Hahahaha it’s all very comical
Oh you just know Pharma peptides will be 10X the actual price. Just look at literally everything else. Insurance got to their cut too.
I am just excited this is moving forward & that peptides are now being taken seriously by the main stream American medical community.
Exactly
