Our government is a god damn corrupt joke, but we have an insanely beautiful country. Being able to go on a road trip through multiple states and see mountains, rivers, lakes, ocean, and desert is a blessing. And as long as you don't watch the news or go online too much, most people are friendly and willing to lend a hand. I think those are our two greatest assets as a country.

What’s more, after gaining our independence, we didn’t create a more oppressive system like most revolutions do, but instead granted that authority with the people.
Furthermore, how many nations can pinpoint a date where it was founded? Ask any European the birth date of their country and they cannot answer that question.
Lastly, I have been all over world, and geographically, there is not a more diverse landscape than the United States. Reminds me of that Lee Greenwood song I was forced to sing while getting beat in boot camp.
Proud that I've been to other countries and the comparison from those to here is night and day more freedom.

Last weekend watching my kid grab my AR and mag dump it, it almost brought a tear to my eye.
