“This batch was tested at the factory and is great.”
Every lab says that.
The part that actually matters is:
“It was also sent to Janoshik for testing. We’ll publish the results when released.”
That’s the key point.
Better to have something from the reseller than nothing at all. Even then, the real value comes from independent third-party HPLC testing.
And the true holy grail? Customer-submitted testing. That’s the one nobody can control, influence, or cherry-pick.
If I were you, I’d either wait for the Janoshik results or send a vial off to Jano yourself. It’s always nice to speak with the reseller first too and see if they’re willing to throw some store credit your way or help cover part of the testing cost.
U*lt!ma and B&L!gas are on hold in my book. They need to prove themselves again. And I’m saying that as someone who’s used both labs for 6+ years straight.
I would never use either of them blindly again. Trust is earned, IMHO. Verification comes first.
Honestly I’ll never spend a dollar of my own money on ultima that being said if it was a freebie I’d prob send few tabs to Analiza and see what it comes back as before popping them
Agree with @Jahbabble plenty of other rock solid brands out there. But like @press1 and @randomdude said there are Jano tests, but take those with a grain of salt IMO
Test it or run it is the only way to find out. That said I did buy some of their Test E and Mast E with a credit they gave me for some bunk gear and testing but those were tested in mid April and mid May. Don’t see any updated testing for EQ unless I’m missing it.
A load of Jano Tests went up a few months back now on all the new batches of gear that were done by Ultima, you'd a have to go a few pages back on the Source SI's to find them mate.
I’d be weary…but they also couldn’t risk any more fuck ups after all those bunk Janos. I bet they’ll be solid for a short while then revert back to the same shitty raws
There has been so much damage to the brand at this point it is only a matter of time before they do it again and then use those funds to rebrand. Seen it too many times over the years.
