I use 23 gauge too so the oil comes out easier but for delts(side &rear) and arms I wouldnt do deeper than a 5/8 I also don’t pin more then 1.5 ML’s in each so if it’s pin day I’ll do rear or sides 1.5 each. If you’re using 1ML or less bro you can just use a 1/2” 27 gauge insulin pin shit is like butter.
That size in your delt. My god no wonder. Especially being green. Also if you don’t get in the right spot it’s no good either. Here.

I'd advise switching to 27g-31g insulin needles man. I personally use 29g to draw and pin with, using a harpoon is definitely not helping pip in this case lol. The 23g will create a lot more scar tissue overtime as well

What if I warm up the test with warm water?
I run the 3ML pin under the hot sink water lol never had an issue there is a cap on the syringes. Just pat all water off before you uncap.
I like to use a heating pad. It’s safer I feel like. Wrap the vial in clean paper towel or load the syringe and do the same which is how I do it. Put paper towel covered syringe in heating pad folded in half. Go about your business or whatever you need to do for a few minutes and come back. Say 5 minutes on medium or high. Depends on your pad. Good to go. This way you aren’t heating up vial over and over. Not that it will hurt it bc it shouldn’t. I just like to keep things as sanitary as possible.
Great response i agree 100% and do the same thing, being sanitary is the smartest way to go.
I even bought my heating pad for this only and I keep it put away in a small bin that I sanitize after I take it out. Call me paranoid but heat just invites germs to grow. Just need some damn Lysol it that easy.
