+ 10 BEWARE! Don’t Believe the Label
Here is my rant.
I am about 9 weeks out from my first show, so I decided it is about time that I start introducing some anavar into my cycle. So I have been on this var now for 5 days and things aren’t looking right in the mirror. I am down to 6.4% bodyfat and my veins look like they could cut glass, but things seemed to have smoothed out the last couple of days and I am just not looking as defined. So just for shits and giggles I decide to step on the scale. WTF!!! I have gained 10 pounds in 5 days! The only variable that has changed was introducing the var into my stack. Diet, cardio, training have all stayed the same.
Fortunately I have a LabMax testing kit so I test this var. Holy shit batman it is Dbol! Unfortunately the source I got this from is no longer around or I would be tearing him a new asshole. So for the last 5 days I have been pumping 80mg of Dbol a day instead of the anavar as it was labeled. This could have been a disaster if I would have started this brand of supposed var a couple weeks out from my show. 20 weeks of prep would have been down the drain because some asshole was making an extra buck by passing off dbol when it was supposed to be var. Fortunately I have some other var that has tested out to be actually var. So all is not lost here.
I guess the moral of my rant here is sources can go south in heartbeat, so don’t just blindly assume that what they put on the label is actually what they are selling you. This mislabeling is worse than dishing out bunk gear in my opinion. This was a fairly popular source at the time who had good reviews but apparently decided to make some extra profit by trying to pass off some expensive var when it was only dbol, and then poof he was gone. I don’t trust anyone anymore. I am testing all my gear from now on to make sure it is what it is supposed to be.

I overlooked this completely! Man… feel dumb. I did my cycle of Test E, and I’m in PCT now. Nova Clomid and before that HCG. Tested non of it. Just took it for granted because the source had high reviews here.
If your var is dbol you will know pretty quick. Been a long time since then and haven't had the old switcheroo pulled on me. Sources are held more accountable now I believe, especially if on eroids and probably know better now. New sources/labs you always have to be cautious with though.

I think everyone who is serious about copping UG gear should own a kit. Too many sources out here try to get away with cutting corners, not giving half a damn about your goals.
geto01i have the same problem . ordered T-bol inside was D-bol jumpet from 94 kg to 100 fatt and water :( . i have changed to diät . thx all money junkies labs that make that shit for 4 cent more profit .

I definitely would have preferred the winny over the dbol since I'm cutting for a comp. Anyway at least I know I have some dbol for my next bulker:) Some very expensive dbol.
RustyhookerIt's hard enough some days simply keeping up with reviews. Let alone have a source shortcut a buyer. Good thing a vet like Makwa keeps a backup plan. Another good reason for extras kept on hand.

I believe I may have had the same issue, only with Proviron.
Ordered from a source (who recently left). I used his Proviron on a previous run and loved it. Last run, (using a different batch of Provi but from the same source) after about two weeks, I had put on an unusual amount of water weight and noticed my blood pressure was unusually higher. Didn't experience either of these sides in the previous run. Blood pressure returned to normal within days of dropping the "Provi".

I can share that frustration with you Mak. my first go of anavar turned out the same way, for the past few years while looking to cut up I've always used winny. last year I decided to go with anavar instead do to nature of the side effects I get while using winstrol, just horrible dry joints, almost feels like I have rheumatoid arthritis, little lethargy as well. low and behold I was getting the same side effects, my var was nothing but winstrol. I'm quite certain of this because I've used real anavar this year, all the same benefits none of the side effects. another dom source that took the money and ran last year. they might get away with this crap from some inexperienced youngster who hasn't quite got the feel for how these compounds react within the body but sooner or later they'll get exposed. happy to hear you'll be able to regroup and save your prep. Like you stated if this happened in the last few weeks it would have compromised everything you worked so hard for.

Not to mention, 80mgs of dbol is a huge dose in my opinion. Best part of dbol is, you take a piss and lose 5lbs...
Just proves that knowing your body and how you react to compounds is key in all of this. Even more reason why people should introduce one new compund at a time so you can gauge future products.
This was my first time using var but I knew something wasn't right when I was 10lbs heavier in only 5 days. Never heard of var doing that to anybody. I guess I know how Dbol affects me now though.
I love dbol for kicking off a cycle, but you found out first hand how superficial the gains are. Can't imagine running a dbol cycle, you'd end up like a water balloon.

How reliable is that LabMax kit? I have seen it a few times but am leery of it. With so many scams these days how would you know any different?
Basic, but it works.
I know that the sheriffs dept in my town has the kit. When I talked to a cop I know he said that is what they use. Apparently there is not much AAS activity in my town since they have used it less than a half a dozen times and most of those were testing for ephedrine.

That's fkd up considering what you was using it for. Apparently it's a very expensive raw so it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of other sources are doing the same or at least dishing out winny as var like i read on wedinos.

I think var and primo are the two most faked compounds out their, definitely look for a recommendation from someone if you plan on running these. That would be my advice to anyone.

Damn, that sucks! What a standup guy, not. Why someone would risk thier rep and a little extra income up front, but lose it on the back end over some dumbshit never maid sense to me. Keep everything on the up and up and people will keep coming back..Glad you had that testing gear.
Doesn't suprise me one bit. You and I have talked about Var on PM and you know my opinion, most of it on the market is BS. Exponentially more irritating when you're in competition prep. It's the main reason orals are an almost insignificant part of my regime now.

You should blast the source since ppl may have some "laying" around . Domestic or intl? Was it a Top 10 src?
It was a domestic source that is no longer here, but who knows these sources come and go under different names so he may very well be back under a different name. Even though the source is no longer on Eroids, I don't think I can list the name in the open forum, unless I hear otherwise from a mod.
