With that said, the “Olympic sniper” is a true person, howvervr they never went to the Olympics. The enemy sniper was actually killed by a USMC sniper, not Kyle.
To see the accurate portrayal of those events, watch the lasted Shawn Ryan podcast w/ Scott Pasciuti podcast 308. This is the actual sniper who killed said enemy sniper in movie.
To your original question... its possible. The world record from a kill is from a Canadian Sniper (record might have been updated).. The sniper killed a dude over a mile away. When you are calculating velocity, wind, bullet drop etc... there is an equation that the sniper must add to the math that measure the fucking CURVITURE OF THE EARTH. There is an actual military sniper equation that measure the speed the earth rotates because it has an effect on the bullet.
Imagine being a 'flat-earther' and the knowing the military has a mathematical equation to calculate how the earth is round in ORDER TO KILL PEOPLE hahahahah
