Yeah but holds 3ml bac water.

ugfreak's picture

Yes exactly. As it mentions on the label, it's a 3ml vial with 10mg product. Keep in mind it's miligrams and milliliters. Not the same thing.

Can someone possibly explain why the different tint?they all have the same batch number? Id get it if it was a different batch but……

ugfreak's picture

Sometimes it's lighter, sometimes it's darker. Even for the same batch. All is well and you can use it.

scoobydoo's picture

How can there be such a variation from the same batch?

Mrtommorrow1987's picture

Unc did a pretty good job of explaining color variations during brewing. It’s a pretty good read if you look at his account.

So I was always wondering the same thing and I read a half ass answer from a source once. When they assign a lot number it is to the batch of raw powder that they use. Not to the brew. They obviously can't mass produce 1000s of bottles in a single batch. So there's multiple batches using that same raw ingredient and they consider that all the same. I think it's weird as shit and makes it's very complicated to narrow down what bottles were affected if there was any type of problem between mixing batch to batch. So that would be my best guess on the color change between bottles with the same batch numbers. Maybe one was heated a little longer then the other.

If they're calling all the vials from a batch of powder as the same batch for every brew, that makes lab tests meaningless. All they have to do is pick the best lab results from a single brew. It doesn't matter if the same powder is used, every brew should be uniquely identified and tested. I'm staying away from all of these major brands.

Here is the definition of batch from Merriam-Webster:
" a: the quantity of material prepared or required for one operation
specifically : a mixture of raw materials ready for fusion into glass"

I felt the same way. Really bugs me how each batch isn't separated. And I want to be clear that I wasn't talking about this source. That conversation was about a totally different source. I can't honestly say how ugfreak keeps track of their batch numbers.

scoobydoo's picture

It's not the source. It's the manufacturer. Freak has nothing to do with quality control. They are resellers.

What's the date on them

It's looking like these batch numbers for these big brands means absolutely nothing.

It’s my understanding that batch numbers are given to the raw ingredient used and bottled at that time. We’re not allowed to go into detail here on the process, but I’d say you and I could split a turkey right down the middle, then depending on what marinade and spices we use as well as how long we leave it in the oven at whatever temperature we decide on individually, our turkeys are going to look completely different, but it’s still turkey. My drumstick may give you pip and yours may not, or vice versa. Or you may wind up with allergic swelling from my wing because I used more marinade than you’re used to… The problem arises when a source tries to pass off bird shaped tofu as turkey, that’s unacceptable. Also by comparison they’re not cooking a massive 25lb turkey all at once, they prepare the same pheasant in pieces, if you know what I’m saying. ParaPharma is legit.
