This doesn’t look so bad. Carefully snip that aluminum off and you should be good. I love this source, gear is definitely accurate dosed…but I’m having my own interesting problem with the packaging as well. I’ve been doing this for 12 years now and I’m using a 23g to draw and I’m somehow “coring out” the rubber stopper and little pieces of rubber floating in my gear now. 2nd bottle this is happening to. The 1st bottle happened towards the end of the bottle so I tossed it and lost prob 2-3 doses. Opened and new one and it happened first shot. I always rotate where I put the pin into the stopper and like I said I use 23g which is pretty small for drawing. Frustrating….what are you guys using? Technique?

I'd say as long as the rubber stopper is still sealed you're probably gtg.

Nah no panicking lol I figured even if it got air that first dose should be okay and pinned it. My experience with this source has always been nothing less than perfect. This is nothing less than a hiccup and honestly not that big of a deal, just the first time it's happened to me and im only concerned about traveling and the bottle being on its side and if there's a potential for a leak. Otherwise if it were sitting on a counter full time, id just throw it in a zip lock bag and leave it upright. Lol

Most of these are just aluminum slightly stronger than foil. Caps can be attached slightly too well, and it’s pretty easy to accidentally break if you’re not careful.
It is definitely a rarity once you watch for it, but I’ve experienced the same in multiple ways with multiple different SRCs.
Really if the stopper didn’t come up and no prolonged air exposure you should be fine, but I can almost guarantee Unc will fix ya up anyways.
