The shit can be no joke, I suffer from anxiety, the only thing that worked great was benzodiazepines. Unfortunately I became terribly addicted and the withdrawals almost killed me twice in the ER. Tried other meds that didn’t do shit, just started Buspar, hopefully it helps. The Adderall may give him relief, but if it’s truly for ADHD, I’d view that as a drug of last resort, it comes with long term risks, there’s no free ride.
