Deep leg pain possibly connected to HGH

ad

Sometimes I am not that smart.... I flew on a long international flight in March of this year. While on the flight, I experienced significant pain in my left leg where I had knee replacement surgery in 2022. It felt like nerve pain and I couldn't sleep except for short spurts on the flight. I had been on 5iu of HGH for 8 weeks before the flight. I assumed the pain was due to sitting on the long flight and was concerned about a blood clot. I bought compression socks on the return flight, but still experienced a lot of pain. (I never thought about HGH causing this).

When I got back to the states I started having deep tissue pain in my knee area and thigh and ended up getting an MRI on my knee. There were no significant findings with the MRI that would indicate something wrong with my knee. The doctors were stumped. I now have scheduled an MRI of my thigh and upper leg.

Then it dawned on me... Is this the HGH doing this to me? So I stopped injections 10 days ago and the pain has been reduced but not eliminated. I experience pain while sitting or lying down, but not as severe. I am not going to tell the docs I've been on HGH - haha. My experience is if you tell a doc you are on higher doses of test or any other compound they react very negatively. I will still get the MRI on my thigh just to make sure I do not have a clot.

5IU of HGH has definitely reduced my belly fat and helped with muscle growth. I'm on 250mg of test a week and the HGH and I dropped 8 pounds without changing any other variables. I have also increased my strength. I've decided to take a 3 month break from HGH and see if the pain is completely eliminated. Then I might go back on 5IU of HGH for 6 months. I fear that 2 or 2.5IU would not have much of an effect. I can deal with short term pain but I worry about any long term consequences.

Good call on the mri and a 3 month break to re evaluate. I have never taken gh so I am not savvy with any of it, bit did you ever try 2.5 in the am and 2.5 in the pm to see if that helps alleviate any of the symptoms ? Maybe worth a try if you decide to go back on after your break.

That seems like a good idea. I was trying to get away with one pin a day, but when I go back this should be the protocol.

Sounds like fluid retention might have been compressing a nerve. Like sciatica. Basically got carpel tunnel, but in your thigh

Just my opinion

I think that makes sense.

I’m inclined to believe this - it makes the most sense.
