+ 19 Functional Training
205 here with a 50 pound weighted vest. Left behind alot of the bodybuilder style workouts and have been more focused on being functional and dynamicly explosive over the past two years. I've been using John Meadows Baby Groot workout program as it flows well with my training outside of the gym for jiujitsu, tai, and wrestling. I do count macros which typically land around 2k-2.5k depending on training and i plan on increasing another 1k over the next couple of months. Cycle stays preety simple. Test based compound at 300mgs and DHB or 1-test cyp at 400mgs with tbol at 40mgs on M,W,F to pulse for workouts following the Baby Groot program. My diet and training circles around my ability to fight up to 15 rounds.

Looking good!
Do you, or anyone, experience an AI effect with dhb like alot do with EQ?
Nice work BTW man. Physique looks great, and functional to top it off
SavTacI can't speak for anyone else but myself no i do not. There are some good logs of DHB cycles on here years back that can provide some feedback to what you are asking! Thanks man. It's been hard work for sure.
Could you post an example of your weekly routine? I am curious bro
Crazy physique bro!! I train bjj and mma also, legs like that would take someone's head smooth off in a triangle!!
SavTacIt definitely helps! Ha
Fuckin Hell - Incredible shape for a Fighter, Very muscular!!
I keep saying to myself I am going to get properly into BJJ and Boxing but I never get my arse into gear and actually do it lol I did an intro session just before Covid hit and shut the place down for a year, and I was horrific - my flexibility and fitness was appalling from powerlifting training.
I walked in thinking I was 10 men and could take on anyone - and left feeling like a child LMAO
SavTacThe hardest part was showing up and you did it for jiujitsu..boxing? Well you just have to like being punched every day -- I recommend both just for overall health and wellness. I remember when I started my journey in MMA and I was still doing bodybuilder shit...i was TRASH lol so I get it! Lol yeap got to leave the ego at the door especially when someone whose 150 pounds soaking wet can put you to sleep with your own arm --
So which would you say you get more enjoyment and satisfaction from after doing it - the MMA and Boxing OR Bodybuilding and lifting weights?
SavTacThe MMA and boxing now for sure. 10 years from now I may be back on a bodybuilding kick haha
Must have some crazy stamina judging by this pic.
I gotta get around to this dhb this summer. And can the tren.
SavTacI'm always striving for better cardio. 15 boxing rounds has always been my baseline for "cardio measurement", rower/ski also helps a ton also plus the weighted vest when I throw it in. I highly recommend DHB.
Yup that’s a test/DHB look for sure. I’ve done that exact cycle. Paper cuts can become life threatening.
SavTacAbsolutely! Rivals my primo progress from years ago.
Sweet vascularity in those quads bro. You only eat 2-2.5k cals at 205lbs? That's pretty wild lol. And I support anything mountain dog related. RIP
SavTacThanks man. Yea i can say I contribute the years of bodybuilding style workouts to being what allows me to get away with my caloric intake. It definitely made me dense throughout the years. Absolutely RIP! I've done a few of his programs and I've loved them all.
Legs are looking wild brother! Do you cycle out the tbol at all or is that frequency low enough to not be too toxic to your liver and lipids?
SavTacThanks! It's typically low enough for me to not have issues as tbol has a low toxicity rate. But if I have any gut issues I'll cycle it out.
Hard Work !
