Sometimes I go down to Kensington Ave, in Philadelphia and walk around pick them up off the street put them in the dishwasher and reuse them. You'd be surprised how many good pins you find just laying around there.
There are a few YouTube channels that just document the shit that goes on down there and it's honestly heartbreaking and horrifying. The videos of elementary school girls in their school uniforms walking in groups down the steps from the train station and stepping all over used needles is horrible. I've spent some time down there about 20 years ago and even as a scrawny white boy in a shirt and tie, with a wad of cash openly on me from sell knife sets, candles or kids books I never felt like I was in danger. But fuck going there these days. Im not up to date on my shots.
