Starting TRT and drug screen requested
ad
So a Primary Care Physician ran some bloodwork and my Test levels are low enough to where they are suggesting TRT. They also have requested a Urine Drug Screen, not sure if they are connected. If so would Test E still be detectable in my urine if my levels were so low? It’s been about 1.5-2months since last dose. Was just running 500mg a a week.

Nope, they are doing urinalysis to rule out if you are a illicit substance abuser.. weird tho , never heard of a physician taking that approach, they typically ask and even then it’s not a reason for them to deny treatment. The Dr sounds like a dick, I’d personally change providers on principle and tell him to suck it.
And I’ve been in Detox and Rehab for the past 10 months for my indiscretions. (Benzos and Coke)… 50 days clean today.
The only time they'll usually stop prescribing ya test after you prove you have hypogonadsm is if you levels are high, evidence you're using extra. Once you prove your levels are really low, most doctors won't have a problem prescribing you a months worth at least.
They aren’t doing a urine test to try to catch you on steroid use. Common practice and probably looking to see more recreational use that may impact treatment options and/or current levels.
Opiates etc lower test. Plus a drug test is common basic stuff.
Sure can. Long term abuse can permanently ruin your bodies ability to produce test in the levels it should.
