+ 1 Long term Anavar

ad

Im coming to the end of my 16 week Anavar test cycle, this is the 3rd time I've used this cycle and love it, but am curious if anyone knows the long term effects of low dose Anavar taken all year with trt? I use 25mg on cycle so was going to just cut the pill in half when i drop to my trt dose

CountryBeast199's picture

Sorry for the late replies, I kinda forgot I even posted this but I did have my bloods checked after the 16w cycle, everything came back within range except my kidney values were slightly off but not concerning to my Dr. Though I do feel I can run it all year now confidently, it did pose some issues with my acid reflux, so I am now looking for a all injectable regiment like Primo or something similar.

It’s under new drug application for approval to market it as a branded product again in treatment of burn victims (in 10-20mg tabs, so higher doses have been studied). Children and adult have shown under RCT stage II and on to III now, I believe it’s safe and effective for five years or more. Some obvious reasons why you’d qualify these as you’re not a burn victim in a paradox of catabolism without resolution of the healing process from the stages of inflammatory reactions we need to move into the anabolic realm again, and anavar shortens this process and elongates the final inflammatory stage, which means nothing for you and I. However, under conditions of zero movement in burn units fed highly controlled dietary macros and under ideal testing conditions (treatment as usual vs. control groups both stuck for up to a year or more, half that time with total immobility and the other half gradual movement therapy until they could be safe from infection and continued strength and rehab therapies in regular, if not daily clinic visits where muscle and progress and LBM, bloods, etc., all monitored regularly - basically there’s a small amount of adversity to kidneys, if any, and probably none for the liver, much lower than expected. The bloodwork is not so problematic for these people on 10-20mg five years out. HDL, some dropouts from some red blood cell pathology that could’ve been unrelated, not an astonishing effect on blood pressure, and LBM not amazing but comparable to guy sitting around without anything but some hospital sauce in a tube to eat - remarkable, especially once they began weight bearing movements. Hematocrit wasn’t a big problem, but I think the five year study was in children through adolescence, the one year in adults but both seem tracked for approval unless there’s no pharma interest given it’s already pretty standard off label in burn units. Check that out or ask me I’ll find it. I think there used to be a rule about posting studies so I’ll leave it at hearsay for now. Take it for what you will. Personally, I’d just go fucking hard on that dose until bloodwork begins to dip, then drop the stuff and keep up the hard work. 16 weeks with quality 80mg var and 180mg testosterone weekly(120 test c/40 test prop - I don’t know why the clinic chose this) with up to three workouts per day was me looking my best for sure. Mind you, years of that hadn’t been unkind, but it through me over the top and I never really lost much of the strength advantage unless I’ve been injured. If I could do that again, which I have, I'd add more testosterone, but it just made me massive. I looked way bigger and was way more fit keeping it in and out of the gym for exercise and keeping test at replacement or slightly higher. Hgh woukd be a killer combination, but I'm older now and 40 ain't 30!

Any reason why you are planning to use Anavar is such a small dose?

CountryBeast199's picture

Sorry for the late reply, many because 25mg’s works well for me, I feel if I go higher the acid reflux issues would be to much for me as I already have issues with it normally and am on medications for it, though like I said I do get great results at 25mg.

SimonM84's picture

Not my post but anything over 50 wrecks my lipids and kidney pain

CRAZY DOSER's picture

That's the strangest answer I've ever heard. I hope you will be able to get at least a meager benefit from this use of Var.

SimonM84's picture

There’s plenty of benefit. I’m not a bodybuilder or power lifter. 50 mg works great for me

Blck_panda's picture

I agree on this, no need to go higher if a certain dosage works for you.

SimonM84's picture

Yeah, although I notice when I take var throughout the day as opposed to 50mg at once, I experience less sides and yield better results. The only time I would run var past 5 weeks is if I lower the dose.

smurfdude1234567's picture

No kidney pain for me, but I agree on the lipid factor @simonmagus84 . The acid reflux will begin to wreck me. Most of the time take Omeprazole and Cardarine to help with bile and lipids while on Var and I have to do the same with Tren.

I do have an over-active production of bile even when on no external drugs though, so it could be worse than most experience.

I totally forgot about the acid reflux. Hey, it affects everyone differently but that’s why I stick with 5/6 weeks at a low dose. Also, I suffer from cramping.

Black90tsi's picture

I've been doing 10-25mg var sublingually for over 8 months now. I've had bloodwork done 4 times so far and every time my lipids, liver and kidney values have come back within range. I realize this isn't exactly what your asking but it might be helpful info. I'll be getting bloodwork again in a few months but i have no reason to think anything will change between the last bloods and those.

CountryBeast199's picture

I had mine checked a week after I went back to trt, everything was find besides kidney values were a tad off.

SimonM84's picture

Next time, take off in the middle so do 5 weeks on 5 weeks off and 5 weeks back on.

That’s a good strategy.

Fuggeddabouttit! Get some good hgh. Not items taxing liver for very tiny tiny boost. Cmon maan.

Pandateston's picture

What’s Hgh dosage (equivalent to 25mg. Daily var) you think should be okay to get leaner along with test all year round ?

SimonM84's picture

1/2 iu

Pandateston's picture

Yeah !! This is a Hgh replacement basically right, or anti aging….I honestly can’t see effect in muscle growth or recovery with less than 4iu daily.
But in my opinion is safer run all year round and the overall benefits are better than var, so @Jockstrap got a point

You can get igf1 test to see if its beneficial for you. Because it is expensive and its not magic like many think. My igf was tanked so 2iu ed keeps me up in normal high range. On cycle i bump to 3iu.

Pandateston's picture

You’re right, best way to adjust the dosage properly and be consistent. I’m not gonna lie I never did that test before even though I ran it 6 months and break 3-4, then come back. (I was like let’s fucking go, adjust as I see results) Usually 4-5iu, and I readjust dosage accordingly with “sides” like CTS, Blood, bloat, stuff like that not the puritan way to do that. it’s not sustainable either. I’m not running it now, I’ll do the IGF 1 test before restart see the baseline, and go follow from there. I Can’t said I threw money out because I got the benefits, but way keep going blindfolded. Your reply made me rethink everything
Thanks

Cheap peptides can raise hgh so you might 'feel' something but the missing part is true hgh raises igf1. So bloods will save you a ton of cash as well.

Jockstrap's picture

@anvil only half evil? Lol! Jk jk...howd ya hit 3.33?

Jockstrap's picture

Ahhhhh!!!! I had a brainfart. Lol

Pandateston's picture

I had used it last year for 12 weeks, 80mg daily, my liver markers were ok, I was felling good, besides some heartburn) after got into week 9, but nothing unexpected.
Some can tolerate more than others. 25mg for most people can cause some issues in liver markers. The person can fell nothing but it can cause deleterious effects on liver over time that can escalate to something hard to solve later on.
But
IMHO it should never be use without test unless sexual life isn’t something important for that unlucky guy.

Heartburn? Check your cholesterol levels i love anavar from 50-100mgs daily 8 weeks max

Pandateston's picture

It was very mild, I did bloodwork before start the cycle and 2 weeks after I get done. The parameters were similar, my ldl got a little bit higher, but nothing horrible. So long term var can be done but lipid and liver can suffer, depending who is taking it.

I've seen guys have issues after 8 weeks and other are healthy after six months straight. What's my point? It does not matter what others do and YOU need to worry about two things - 1. If you feel like something is different, than stop 2. Run blood work!

Nobody on a forum can tell you how you will react.

Ya I know, was just wanting some personal experience to see if maybe someone had major issues, my bloods were find after each 16w cycles besides kidneys were a tad off, liver and lipids were fine. Though I’m now looking more into primo or staying all injectable.

Have blood work done brother. This is the answer to your question.

Check your lipids and CMP and monitor your BP to find out your own risks. That’s dumb imo
