Thank you for letting me joint the group and allowing me to share a part of my life with you today. It means a lot to me to be here and speak from my heart. For many years, I battled addiction to opiates, a struggle that led me to some of the darkest places imaginable—years in prison, homelessness, near-death experiences, and moments where I thought I had no hope. I faced violence, overdoses, and situations I never thought I’d survive. But in the midst of all that pain and chaos, I found a lifeline. For me, that lifeline was my faith in Christ, who gave me strength to rebuild my life, piece by piece. Today, I’m proud to say I’m free—free from addiction, free from the chains of my past, and living with purpose. My new 'drug' is the gym. Working out gives me the focus, discipline, and energy to keep moving forward. More than anything, I’ve discovered the power of spreading love, positivity, and encouragement to others. It takes strength to choose positivity in a world that often feels cynical, and I strive every day to be that light. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that no matter how far you’ve fallen, you can rise again. Life is about resilience, faith, and choosing to be better every single day. My story isn’t just about me--it’s a testament to the fact that we all have the power to overcome and inspire others through our journeys.
