+ 3 Bloodwork 10-2024
ad
Greetings brothers, posting up some bloodwork. My current regimen is test 210mg/week, primo 210mg/week, anavar 70mg/week. Supplementing dhea 25mg/day (taking that out since the number is off the chart).
Questions: Anything here set off alarm bells regarding liver parameters or cholesterol? I haven't pulled cholesterol numbers in quite some time so nothing to compare to. I'm assuming this is just what happens on primo and low dose anavar - those were added since my last blood draw and you can see in the liver picture the increase.
Note: Not sure why my test was so low. I'd actually increased my dose since the last blood draw and my total test went down?
Thanks in advance fellas

You need to donate blood and take liver support. Also, do more cardio.
Learning , thanks
If your supplier of test and dosing schedule/protocol hasn’t changed, then the drop in total test value can be attributed to lowered SHBG. Lower SHBG equates to higher metabolic clearance rate for testosterone, especially if you get real low (I.e below the low end of the ref range). The use of certain compounds to tank SHBG to artificially boost your free test for more gains is broscience. SHBG has a very critical role is shuttling test and preserving test from being metabolized out of your system. Test bound to SHBG isn’t bound forever, only very temporary (few hours). I believe Var has a SHBG reducing capacity…not anything like proviron but it still does it to some degree.
Even low dose Var will crush your lipids. Though your HDL:Triglycerides ratio isn’t too bad for having tanked lipids.
I was going to say that 10mg Anavar per day and primo shouldn't really do that, but if you have been doing the anavar for 3 months then it probably will. Anavar is not a safe oral towards the liver even though many tout it as being, it will bite you back as well as in the kidneys. All Orals are pretty much liver toxic, and many will scar the inside of the kidneys similar to being obese, that includes OTC meds too when taken ED for long periods. On these latest blood tests, did you draw bloods very close to your last workout? Sooner than you did on the previous draws - if so then this could be the reason. I always leave it 3 days rest after the last training session, if you compare this to leaving just 1 day of rest you will see a significant difference in results. Things like kidney parameters will also appear worse too.
I trained the day before, the thought crossed my mind but only after the blood draw. The previous day i wasn't training over the weekends and bloods were taken on a Monday morning. Next time I'll give it a rest and see how that impacts. That's good advice on the liver/kidney. I certainly don't want any scarring. That's why I added the c-reactive protein test this time to check for systemic inflammation since I went from running pharma only to ugl.
That will for sure make a difference on the training front how long a time you are resting between draws and lifting, I have had high c-reactive protein in the past but think this could also be affected if you inject into muscle regularly, not sure. Yes the scarring won't just happen overnight, but it can if BP is high or if orals are run for long periods. I have heard DBol is a bugger for causing it - so I'm knackered!! lol
I just some free gift Dbol. Guess I won't be experimenting with that for a bit haha! I inject daily subq so I was looking at the c-reactive protein to signal if maybe the carrier oil was a problem or the addition of primo/var was upsetting the system at all. Sounds like I need to run some support sups, take a few days off before the blood draw and retest. I'm feeling good, leaning out and making gains so I'm not excited to drop the var at the moment but I'm also not wanting to sacrifice health. I meet with my doc tomorrow morning and while he's experienced in hrt he doesn't know a lot about these other compounds.
Is it perfect? No. Are you fine? Yes. Real drugs give real side effects I personally wouldn’t run any oral that long, but that’s just me. I’d stick to test only for a few months, my money says your levels come back fine. As far as the testosterone drop, it’s not significant enough to worry about. Time of day, last injection, etc, you’re still well above average. I’d expect more from 200mg a week, that would put me above 1500, but we’re all different buddy.
BysandtrysDid you take time off training before blood draw?
GGT is a slighty better marker to track for liver health if you train a lot
I didn't this time, I trained the day before. Not normally how I'd do it. I'll look into GGT
Am I missing your test score? Where is it at?
I must've cut it off accidentally putting everything into one image. Test was 1144. Down from 1385
Thought i was tripping. From all my bloods, I have established a better understanding of my test score.
Not sure why it went down but I like to get checked out at diffrenet test levels. New manufacture for your test maybe?
Cholesterol is fine, no big deal, as far as the liver, that’s the var, not the primo, normally you run for about 4-6 weeks, also NAC 1000mg, TUDCA 1000mg, and Milk thistle, should help improve the liver values.
How long have you been running the var?
Right at 3 months @ 10mg daily. I was thinking (maybe foolishly) that I could run it long term based on the anavar deep dive posted by vigorous steve a few months back. The long term studies showed only a marginal bump in liver parameters. I was waiting to get bloods back before adding in the ancillary sups. Sounds like I need to add those in short order.
