Personally, I am someone who avoids straps,
Wraps and belts in favor of raw lifting, callouses never get to the point where they tear or bleed or feel like they don’t need to be there.
Years ago when I would use deadlifting straps on say 70% of my max lifts for reps ., then to go without straps hurt the hands like a beotch, around this time I went in full favor of Supra grip to push past obstacles and work my way up, I can’t find a bar at the gym that hurts my hands;

Man, I love lifting with gloves, keeps my hands largely callous free. Also, the gym is a dirty place. It's a reminder not to touch my face for any reason. Plus, they look cool. Everyone is looking at how stylish I look in my kick ass workout gloves - extra tough too when I'm doing those burnout sets with 25 pound dumbbells'.
I'm a fan of using wrist straps when needed. No shame in the game. Sometimes you just gotta load up past what your grip can handle.

I don’t mind it to a degree but I play instruments and can’t have my hands turning to bricks, lifting definitely hurts the speed and dexterity. Those straps seem like a good idea too. Probably should give them a shot.

Mom got me the “Weider” weight lifting gloves when I was like 14, I also had this complete workout station with assisted pull-up and dip combo, a pec fly and lay pulldown & low cable for curls, the third side had a leg press and chest press.
