Anhedonia: horny but hard to ejaculate

I’ve never run into this problem until last night, moved away from my pharma test cyp 200mg, been on that trt doctors orders, for 3 months, I am now taking pure alcoholics test cyp 500mg , inject 250mg x2 weekly.
Estrogen was @45 while on adex .25 day (trt protocol) after pinning, wanted it around 30.. anyway my thoughts are due to the larger dose of pure alcoholics test my estrogen shot way up, didn’t feel any less horny but when it came time to cum I really had to work at it, I can feel signs of high estro usually, can anyone lend me this answer?

Get bloods done brother. Simple as that. You increased the dose, see how your body is responding.

I don’t think there’s research on ashwagandha and anhedonia. But it’s a pretty known effect of ashwagandga, you can search up some experiences on reddit, but if you cycle it you might be fine.

SSRI's can cause anhedonia and delayed ejaculation. Your best bet is to get blood work done first if everything is okay then it could be the med.
I believe it to be the jump in dose . 200mg of test shoots the estrogen up, 250mg twice in the span of 3.5 days .. must have skyrocketed , not being able to ejaculate while on cycle has me extremely worried.
I’ve heard around high estro will cause lack of pleasure with little to no effect on actual erections.
Retest your e2, if it’s elevated up your adex. Also test your prolactin and your total test.

Prolactin unlikely with just test, but always good to check. Bloods are cheap. I always advocate for bloodwork. Otherwise you’re just stabbing around at the dark hoping you find the right answer.
I think my doc dropped me after my labs went above 1500 as I can’t log into my patient portal, don’t even feel like calling him, can you point me in the direction of a home test or something to that effect..

He said his estro was at 45 which isn’t really that high. So it would make sense if it was prolactin and not the estro.
The estro was 45 AFTER taking almost .5mg leading up to my labs

I think it was at 45 when he was on his trt protocol , he's blasting 500 now. Could be prolactin but can also be E2 because he upped the dose so his best option is to do bloodwork.
True, this will tell all, remember this came out of the blue while using a new sources gear.. my mind goes worst case scenario. Take trazadone at night too, very low dose, hoped on trt and take the trazzies regularly, no issues with cumming whatsoever . It does feel like a prolactin issue, what compounds besides Tren raise prolactin thaaaat much?
19nors (Deca,npp,tren) in general can raise prolactin , theres other stuff also like HGH for some or ssri's which can also raise it.
We can figure without an AI due to my body fat percentage being much higher than my icon pic, 200mg test cyp probably had my estrogen at like 70 if .5 takes it down to 45. 500mg test without adex might shoot that up to 150? I’m just throwing generalized numbers out there..

I’ve never heard of lowered pleasure. High estrogen will definitely lower libido though.
It has to be very high usually as well though. Elevated above normal and you’re usually still good. 45 is just barely above normal. Honestly I don’t see that being the issue and I’ve been above that and still fine. Everyone is different though.
You can use your ai at increased dosages and see if that helps. You’ll know if you get your estro too low.
